Excellent appetizer tasting menu of fresh raw and cooked fish. Lots of superlative dishes! Excellent wine list. Sailor's coffee and delicious cantucci. Excellent service. Courteous and friendly owners. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

I had lunch with a friend this morning at the Il Gambero da Tato restaurant in Sbt, I recommend the appetizer route, super top, various types of appetizer from raw, to cold, to hot, truly delicious. We had two truly abundant grilled fish, and above all the quality of the raw materials was truly fresh.. Renovated restaurant inside, the waitress who served us was truly professional in her service.. I highly recommend it to people who intend to taste first choice products.. I attach some photos, they aren't all of them because there were so many appetizers... ps in the appetizer there was also a taste of fried food and a cuttlefish skewer🔝 A bottle of Pecorino wine Two desserts, a coffee and two bitters... Price more than fair!!

Ambiente elegante ma senza eccessi di formalità e raffinatezza, accoglienza gentile e simpatica, cucina di pesce ottima con prodotti dei quali si percepisce freschezza e qualità. I piatti pur se ben presentati anche visivamente sono ugualmente privi di eccessi di avanguardia e modernità. Una cucina classica ben adattata ai tempi moderni, a cominciare dalla presenza di una svariata proposta di menu degustazione combinati, oppure si può scegliere alla carta. Noi proviamo il percorso di mare, una selezione di antipasti di pesce crudi, freddi e caldi che valgono una cena. Sono infatti una quindicina di piattini (40 euro a testa) tutti perfetti. Il percorso è calibrato per una persona e dunque non divisibile: se si è in due occorre effettivamente ordinarne due, anche se ci si volesse solo limitare a puri assaggi (che già lo sono) per poi provare altri piatti della cucina. Ottimi anche i dolci, noi abbiamo provato la zuppa inglese (6 euro). Con i caffè (1 euro), il coperto (3 euro) l’acqua (3 euro, litro litro in vetro) e una ottiglia di vino bianco marchigiano ben servito con cestello di ghiaccio (15 euro) abbiamo speso per una cena a base del solo percorso di mare 60 euro a testa. Consigliato.

Excellent selection of appetizers!

Very pleasant experience at this restaurant. We tried the appetizer route. The courses vary from 15 to more than 20 depending on the catch, including raw, steamed, fried, marinated. Everything really excellent Good wine list, acceptable value for money

Best selection of fish antipasti I ever had...

It was a nice surprise, friendly and helpful staff! Good food but not at the top, there are certainly better places, but let's say that on average it can be a nice location where you can eat peacefully.

Torno in questo locale dopo un pò di tempo in compagnia di amici. Il locale è strapieno ma non per questo l'accoglienza ed il servizio ne risentono. La qualità del cibo è eccellente come al solito. ...una cascata d'antipasti meravigliosi e primi fantastici. Secondo me è eccessivo il prezzo...comunque ci può stare!
