Luckily there is the Platano!! In a dormitory town like Ricengo, the bar/tobacconist/bookshop/pub/restaurant and much more, Il Platano with its kind and hospitable managers has, in my opinion, in addition to its specific characteristics, also a social function as an aggregator for young people who live in this town who, otherwise, would have to move to Crema. I highly recommend anyone who happens to be passing through the area to stop for a never banal lunch, with traditional Crema menus and other specialities.

Good food, clean place, good service

I was there for a business lunch, the quality of the food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and it was cheap, which doesn't hurt. Super recommended.

Tipica trattoria di paese situata a Ricengo, nella pianura al confine tra le province di Cremona e Bergamo. Il locale è abbastanza semplice, con ampie sale sul retro e ingresso con bancone bar (si tratta di un bar trattoria). Il personale è cordiale e alla mano, così come il servizio informale. Buona la proposta di menu di lavoro a prezzo fisso, con piatti piccoli ma ben preparati. Consigliato per una pausa di lavoro o per qualcosa di veloce e semplice.
