Evocative, panoramic religious site, go and fall in love with the Madonna of Montevergine. Continue the date and follow the road for 3/4 km and walk in the wild plain of Montevergine.... at the end of the plain, continuing to walk on the left, you arrive at the fabulous panoramic point where you can admire the mountains of Irpinia and the Gulf of Naples: you can see Vesuvius and the islands of the gulf.

Beautiful because it is a Sacred place...we went during the week...and it was bad we couldn't visit the sanctuary which was all closed...1 hour's drive in vain...the churches should be left open to the faithful...but now if lost everything..it's just commerce...everywhere you go..

Spiritualità e bellezza. Nel giorno della Candelora l'emozione è forte e commovente, le canzoni storiche delle paranze sono toccanti. La varia umanità sorprendente, la ripidita` della funicolare, anche. Esperienza d fare almeno una volta nella vita.

Luogo di pace per l'anima silenzio e pace accentuati dalla presenza della neve opera incantevole , icona della Madonna splendida da visitare, ovviamente è consigliato usare la Funicolare che da Mercogliano arriva alla Basilica top

14/03/2024: The restaurant is excellent, compliments to the chef, the owner very kind and helpful. I highly recommend
10/03/2024: Strategic hotel with a nice car park, close to the industrial area, but unfairly distant to avoid disturbances of any kind. The room on the ground floor has been entirely renovated, and the rooms on the upper floor are all well looked after and spotlessly clean. The restaurant is excellent with mouth-watering seafood options, with reasonable prices.
