Our only disappointment was finding the place closed on our arrival, we had chosen this place for Sunday lunch but missed its lunch service luckily we happened to catch a woman on her way home between shifts. We must have looked hungry because she opened the place for us and called the chef to see if she could use some of the supper prep to feed us. The meal was wonderful and truly was an authentic Sunday supper which we got to have for lunch, while the charming Lidia was preparing the meal she had some of the local refugee artisans come and show us their handcrafted wares. A wine carafe and two mugs later and with pleasantly full bellies sipping some of the great local Greco Bianco wine we wished we had a longer day so we could explore more of the village. Highly recommend spending some time here in this defacto center of the town’s social life and enjoy some great wine, food and warm company again special thanks to Lidia for making our visit so memorable.

It felt like summer, but without chaos, beautiful location, excellent food, family welcome

In summer it is in the open air piazza and winter it is inside. Nice views from the piazza. Tables and benches with roof. Strange looking bronze statue with no obvious connection to the place.
