A family occasion, three generations of women at lunch. Pampered with kindness, staff present but discreet. Excellent food, as always. In the photo a Crudité appetizer and a Grand Gratin without garlic, mussels in busara, grilled octopus (without the parmesan cream), king prawn tails on truffle cream, grilled prawns on a bed of mixed salad. No photo for the baked potato portion. A simple glera and some water to soak everything up and three coffees at the end of the meal. Price more than correct for the quality of the food and the service (€55 each)

We had an all-round great time, excellent dishes, true and spontaneous friendliness at a more than honest price, congratulations

I allow myself to give this opinion as little more than sufficient for the following reasons: 1. Eating well-cooked fish (which for me means above all not ruining it - assuming the raw material is of good quality) has become almost impossible in Trieste, but that doesn't mean you should take advantage of it. 2. The dimensions and characteristics of a venue should be respected (entrance, hallway, services, etc.) in order to guarantee comfort and tranquility for all diners, therefore, in my opinion, the number of tables, their size and the arrangement should undoubtedly be reviewed as well as the ventilation given that the clothes become permeated with odors quite conspicuously. 3. We know that these days it is not easy to find trained staff, but give the simple indication that when ordering, or at most when the drink is delivered, bread is also served, thus avoiding having to ask for it when the dishes they are already on the table, it shouldn't be too difficult. 4. Regarding the dishes, I must say that tasting the house seemed a little expensive for what it offers, while the risotto was decidedly overcooked, perhaps due to the less than exceptional quality of the rice. 5. Good wine by the glass. 6. An appetizer, two first courses, two glasses 75 euros. Overall I can't say I left very satisfied. I hope the owner fixes these aspects because, as I was saying, there is a real need for places where you can eat fish in Trieste. Congratulations.

Really nice seafood restaurant. The food was tasty and the prices reasonable. I liked the mix between german seriosity and italian fantasy.

No one cooks the way they cook at Walter Zacchini's Bottega! The appetizer of anchovies in onion cream, the sea bass with baked potatoes and chicory and the sorbet were FABULOUS! It's the place where I ate the best fish of my life

Sehr angenehm und gutes Fischlokal. Fast ausschließlich Gäste aus Triest. Das ist ein gutes Zeichen. Unbedingt vor Tisch reservieren. Sonst kann es eng werden.

Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant mit ansprechender Atmosphäre. Fischspezialitäten, die hervorragend schmecken. Als Vorspeise Schwertfischtatar und Sardinen-exzellent. Hauptspeise gebratene Tintenfische-ebenfalls sehr gut. Dazu einen guten offenen lokalen Wein.Der Service ist schnell und freundlich. Preise moderat, sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis
