Cozy place, excellent meat but the price quite excessive.

I had been meaning to try this now dated place located in the central area of ​​Reggio Calabria for some time now. It obviously specializes in products that include meat as the main element. I spaced out a bit, also to measure its qualities in general. Everything we tasted was of good quality, there wasn't a particular product that impressed me. Another fact that I recommend improving is the welcome and friendliness with the customer, often overlooked in this city except for a few exceptions which make it a plus. The customer often returns to where he feels comfortable.

Spectacular setting, great food and the staff are really helpful

Unforgettable lunch! The restaurant offers a wide choice of truly special appetizers... I would have liked to try them all but there will be other occasions! Today we opted for some 'nduja and a pecorino fondue, both served on a characteristic terracotta stove, accompanied by some homemade bread bruschetta and a good house wine. For the second courses our choice was an entrecote and a sliced ​​beef with rocket and parmesan... both very soft and very tasty; the excellent quality of the meat and the professionalism of the chef made the meal a pleasure! Highly recommended!

Located only 5 minutes from the main pedestrian street of Corso Garibaldi in Reggio Calabria. It is worth finding your way to this smaller neighborhood restaurant. We were greeted warmly by the staff who went out of their way to help English speaking customers when everyone else were locals. There is an English menu. This place offers both pastas and meat dishes. Portion size was generous. Food quality was high and served very hot. Authentic local flavors. A great selection. Not unreasonable prices. A half litre of the house wine only 6 euros. Pasta dishes were 10 - 14 euros. Nicely decorated place. If you want to eat authentic food like the locals, in a friendly atmosphere, this is a must try place! Edit: came back a second night - ask for the molten pistacchio cake for dessert!!!!!

What about the Butcher's Cellar! An enchanting trattoria a stone's throw from the most beautiful km in Italy! Tranquility accompanied by good music in the background. Both the starters and the meat main courses were excellent, cooked in a masterly manner, and the desserts were also a delicacy. Excellent service, polite and available for every request. Well done, you have earned my 5 stars

Consigliatissimo per chi vuole far provare i sapori della nostra cucina. Ottimo il tagliere dei salumi tipici e ottimo il vino!

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, ambiente accogliente, su consiglio del personale ho preso un antipasto misto salumi e formaggi e non sono riuscita a mangiare altro (porzione molto abbondante) se non una cheese cake di loro produzione al caramello salato. Ci tornerò per provare i primi. Assolutamente promosso

Ho mangiato l'altro ieri in questo ristorante. All' inizio ero un po' titubante per via delle recensioni ma chi ha scritto negativamente di questa struttura sicuramente ha cenato in un altro posto! Partiamo dall' abbondanza delle portate. Il consiglio è di andare rigorosamente a stomaco vuoto ed affamati. Abbiamo preso un antipasto, un secondo ed un contorno per uno e già all' antipasto eravamo pieni. Abbiamo dovuto lasciare due fettine di pane con la nduja perché veramente eravamo sazi. Io ho preso gli straccetti al bergamotto..non saprei se definire come prima qualità del piatto l' abbondanza o la bontà..a vostra scelta perché il piatto era parimenti abbondante e buono! Mio marito ha preso una grigliata mista e non è riuscito a finirla nonostante fosse buonissima. Io avevo preso per contorno un' insalata mista e lui delle patate al forno. L' insalata non sono riuscita neanche ad assaggiarla con molto rammarico perché non amo gli sprechi di cibo. Le patate erano buonissime ma le abbiamo dovute lasciare anche quelle. I miei figli hanno preso un hamburger ciascuno. Buonissimo, tenerissimo e immenso. I dolci non siamo riusciti ad assaggiarli. Un caffè, un passito, 3 sorbetti, acqua e vino ed abbiamo speso € 136 in totale, che in proporzione alla quantità e qualità sfido a definirlo caro! La classifica di TripAdvisor non rende giustizia a questo posto. Ho mangiato in altri posti in città ma non così di gusto!
