In many ways this was my favourite restaurant in Mondello. The owner and his staff were very friendly and helpful both with me as a vegetarian and with our children's unconventional requirements. The food was excellent. My only suggestion is that (like all restaurants in Mondello) they should have more vegetarian options. We are a considerable proportion of the travelling public. Furthermore, there will be more of us as climate change increases. I ate the vegetarian side orders here as a main course. They were all delicious. The three other members of the family enjoyed their food also. Wine here is no problem. The owner has been a wine seller for twenty years. He has good wines. We consumed one of the best bottles of Zibibbo we have seen. The food is not cheap. Nevertheless, compared with other restaurants in Mondello of the same quality it is very reasonable. Anyone staying in Mondello (or Palermo) should eat here.

I am not sure if this is the nr2 restaurant of Mondello. The food was all good, polpo, linguine, cod, pork, and we bought the wine opposite of the road where the son has a fabulous enoteca, where you can also eat tapas style. Service good, setting a bit old fashioned. It is not at the main restaurant area, about 15 minute walk from the beach. All n all, nice meal, but not spectacular, I give it the benefit of the doubt, 4 star
