Sunday 25 February, lunch with friends/children. Let me start by saying that it is not the first time I have come to this beautiful place, but unfortunately this time was decisive in saying enough is enough. After having agreed on the menu, days before, a fish menu for adults and an à la carte menu for children, we meet again and the party begins, everything was going reasonably well until the moment of the bill where the owner, in addition to the price of the chosen fish menu, decides that the fish menu, of the 2 guys chosen, to charge 20 euros less, obviously they had stopped much earlier... For the other 3 guys who had ordered à la carte, they set a fixed price of 25 euros per guy, now I'll point out: one of the three took a first course, a second course and a dessert, a dessert made exclusively for our company, (and here the 25 euros can also fit) the other 2 ate one a pasta with tomato sauce and the other a cutlet with chips, here and there I think but for a pasta or a cutlet I really have to pay 25 euros, it seems a bit much even for a a certain level restaurant like La Cicala. ATTENTION, that's not all, after paying they offered us a limoncello like 90% of the places do, well even after several requests they pretended nothing happened, asking if we wanted something only when we were going out and talking loudly about their lack of it. .. I think this place isn't for me anymore. A few steps further there are 2 other restaurants better than this...

We have been frequenting this restaurant several times a year for more than 25 years and it has always helped us create beautiful memories of our most important days without ever disappointing us. It is an excellent restaurant, the dishes are carefully presented and are all delicious and the environment is very pleasant, almost familiar. Highly recommended

If you went to the restaurant just to eat I would give 5 stars for the excellent food, for the quality, variety and for the presentation and generous portions... but I think you also go out to eat for the experience, to be welcomed in a different place, to meet smiles, people and a nice atmosphere. Last night I was with my three year old daughter and, not wanting to use her cell phone, she gets lost playing games at the table. I found an unexpected attentiveness in all the waiters, making us feel welcomed even if we were not the typical trio of a restaurant like this. With us adults, kindness translated into attention when ordering dishes, advice, ideas, off-menu... ordering is a dialogue in which little by little you create your dinner. If they had fed me hay in the end I would have been happy. But luckily the menu and dishes live up to the atmosphere. Exceptional starters, varied, few frills, plentiful. The first tops, I took the salmon gnocchi. I never got to the second courses because I was too full but I saw them pass by with platters on the trolley. Menu entirely based on fish, fair prices!

Ho avuto il piacere di partecipare ad un matrimonio in questo locale che ha reso la festa davvero indimenticabile per ospitabilita, cortesia, cibo, location. affidatevi alla sapiente esperienza del signor Pino. Saprà rendere perfetta la vostra festa!
