02/04/2024: We were unable to enjoy the small village of Moggiona due to a rainy spring, but we made up for it with the route to the Mater restaurant, which accompanied us among the scents and scents of the surrounding forest. Bringing the forest and all its suggestions onto the plate is the intent of chef Baroni, for a menu proposal linked to the territory, to the proximity of Camaldoli and to the products of the vegetable garden and the 0 km garden. In the tasting menu "In depth " among our favorites the forest broth and the wild salad with pepper vinegar sorbet, the pigeon is superb.
