Very nice restaurant, spectacular exterior, a fairytale

Cena super con vista sul lago D’orta. Abbiamo voluto provare entrambi i menu degustazione che propongono, uno vegetariano ed uno tradizionale, in modo da poter assaggiare più piatti. Prima di iniziare la cena, il personale (molto gentile e professionale) ci ha servito il loro burro con pane e grissini fatti in casa. Il burro è forse uno dei più buoni mangiati ultimamente. Insieme a questo, le loro amuse bouche, altrettanto buone. L’esperienza è stata impeccabile, portata dopo portata. Ad ogni piatto si assaporava la loro filosofia di cucina a km0. Il gran finale, che ci ha stupito molto, è il vulcano di gianduia servito in show cooking direttamente sul cucchiaio di ogni ospite. Bello e buono. Assolutamente da provare!

A truly enjoyable and relaxing evening. The place is very beautiful and well-kept. The wonderful vegetable garden. The staff is young, kind and competent. Superlative food with delicate flavors and excellent quality. The chef very discreet and kind. We chose the two tasting menus, which were spectacular. In short, what can I say, highly recommended.

Emotional.... definitely an unforgettable dinner. We are in a place with attention to every detail: from the entrance driveway that leads to the restaurant with its well-kept and delimited vegetable gardens, the soft lights, the welcoming staff who are always available for every little need. Windows overlooking the garden overlooking the lake accompany the experience you are about to live: an extra-sensory gastronomic journey. The search for perfection is the watchword. During the evening it is nice to see the staff move around the kitchen, the timing and dynamics of their work. Added value: the chef is directly involved with his diners. Het is zowiezo een genoegen om een eetavond met oude vrienden te hebben, maar als deze dan ook nog eens op zo'n fantastische locatie is? In het achterland van Orta, onderdeel van een mooi resort tref je het restaurant van La Darbia. Schitterende entree, stylish vormgegeven tussen de kruidentuinen van de keuken. Aperatief in een hele mooie pergola, fijne bubbels ook. En dan aan tafel, op een mooi terras met waarzinnig eigend over schiereiland van Orta en het Isola San Giulio. Adembenemend. En dan nog de super creatieve en heerlijke gerechten, plaatje op het bord en zo heerlijk dat je het vlees niet mist. Afgetopt met heerlijke wijnen en bediening die de gerechten speels uitlegt. Een topper.

Meraviglioso. Luogo, cibo e servizio da ristorante stellato, ma con la disinvoltura italiana di chi si esattamente cosa sta facendo. Eleganza, ricercatezza e servizio.

Location meravigliosa immersa nel verde e con fantastica vista lago. Personale cordiale e ben preparato. Mangiato molto bene, ho apprezzato in particolare gli spaghettoni mare e monti e la panna cotta con le sue salse. Buona carta vini. Consigliato!
