Quite a refined restaurant without too many frills but with an intimate and refined atmosphere. The food is of good quality, a menu that is not excessively vast and carefully prepared. I advise

Overrated restaurant. It seems that those who give ratings here have never eaten in a restaurant in Rome in their lives. Average quality food. Artichokes in batter. There is a lot of batter, it just falls off the artichoke and the artichoke is more represented by a stem than an inflorescence, while the name of the flowers is on the menu. Bruschetta with cheese and pear is not very good, it is not convenient to eat with either your hands or a fork, the cheese used is the cheapest in Italy. The meat was cooked ok, but not over the top. The worst thing is the table. Your hands stick to the tabletop, as if the table had been doused with sweets and it had not been wiped well. I thought I had glitches, but my wife confirmed that I had the same sensations. For objectivity, I touched the neighboring table, the same situation. It's horrible. An electronic menu is fashionable, but the implementation is at an antediluvian level. Older visitors will not be able to use it, it is absolutely unstructured. Well, the most impressive thing is that this is the first restaurant in Europe where bread was not served or even offered.

Tried it for lunch attracted by the reviews. Cute as it is furnished inside, in a somewhat dull chic style. Small, not very intimate environment. We order spaghetti with salted butter and truffle. The truffle arrived not in slivers but grated (I prefer it), but unfortunately it didn't have a strong flavour, so it didn't give that boost to the dish. I took 2 chicory as a side dish for the modest sum of 8 euros per plate (exaggerated). Accompanied by 2 glasses of wine by the glass, the waitress, perhaps a little excited, dropped the bottle, luckily it didn't break. account in 2 70 euros.

Highly recommended! One of my favorite restaurants. Informal and welcoming environment, perfect for having a chat in peace. Excellent, quality food with delicious and highly satisfying dishes. Absolutely reasonable prices. Very kind and helpful staff. If I could, I would increase the number of stars!

Exceptional from every point of view

Highly recommended!! Small place, but super welcoming and refined, with attention to all its details. Excellent service, they immediately bring you bread and oil to taste, delicious. The girls who served in the dining room were very well prepared, detailed explanations of all the dishes and wine, and gave us excellent advice. Absolutely try the divine soft-boiled egg as an appetizer!! But we were also surprised by the Carnaroli rice with baked onions and perfectly balanced couples and the beef picanha also perfectly cooked, it melted in the mouth. Delicious dessert, the chocolate soufflé served hot with a cream on the side which went very well. Even the coffee is not served in the classic way, but on a tray with two cantucci and two meringues. I can't wait to return to Rome to dine again at Dispensa Mellini.

Fantastic food, manageable portions and friendly staff. The atmosphere is welcoming, casual, but elevated.

Location davvero carina, appena fuori dal centro, lungo Tevere in zona Prati. Molta attenzione ai particolari, personale gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene e le porzioni sono state davvero abbondanti, non so chi ha scritto il contrario ma noi abbiamo fatto fatica a finire i nostri piatti. Prezzi leggermente più alti della media, in linea con le porzioni. Se calate un paio di euro e due forchettate in meno nelle porzioni per me siete perfetti!! :-) Tradizione romana con qualche rivisitazione, bravi! Spazio ai giovani!

siamo sul lungo tevere, da piazza del popolo si attraversa il fiume e si è a destinazione. locale molto piccolo, ordinato anche se di fatto c'è poco spazio tra i tavoli, atmosfera minimalista con musica da camera come sottofondo. conduzione in sala tutta al femminile, garbata e veloce. menu incentrato su pietanze romane, abbiamo preso le linguine burro alici e pecorino molto saporite, un cacio e pepe preparato con rigore, trippa fritta fatta con tocchetti di interiora impanati e passati in olio, carciofi fritti gustosi, cicorietta ripassata molto buona. 2 alternative di vino rosso al calice. con acqua e 2 caffè abbiamo speso in 2 pex 80€. anche in presenza di porzioni abbondanti, la spesa non sembra sostenuta dal valore complessivo trasmesso, incomprensibile poi richiedere un coperto basso (1€/pex) ed imporre 3,50€ per il cestino di pane (quando ci si sposta dal servizio che ognuno valuta come crede all'oggettivo è difficile spiegare perchè far pagare così 4 fette di pane). buona soluzione se si è in zona, non riesco però a trovare motivi per andarci di proposito o comunque ritornarci.
