Excellent food, but more than an hour passed between ordering and consuming. Then no one showed up to order a coffee, a bitter, a dessert. Sin.

We had dinner at this place. An experience that I would certainly repeat both for the environment and the food but not for the bill.
As soon as we sat down, the owner arrived to take our orders. Upon my request for an appetizer consisting of cured meats and bruschetta, the latter were denied (just because they were off the menu) and we were advised to order an "atypical" appetizer from those on the menu.
We then order an artichoke and some cured meats accompanied by bread made by dad.
After these we order a pizza each, there were two of us.
Everything we consumed was undeniably more than good, I don't question the cuisine which was of an excellent standard.
To drink 3 beers in total, two klosters and a landbier. At the end of the meal two coffees.

The environment is warm and welcoming like the owner Cecilia. He served us with care and attention, with the same love he has for his place, his dishes and his staff.
The dishes are simply WOW! We ate divinely. My husband chose the pizza, the dough was soft and delicious, while I opted for a first filling with exceptional mashed potatoes! Next I took the cheek and I didn't need a knife as it was so tender, it melted in your mouth! Amazing! We also really enjoyed the local craft beer. The desserts are indescribable as is the chocolate egg, made by her pastry chef, which we took home.
I recommend everyone to go! We will definitely return despite the distance!

During our holiday in Abruzzo, my partner and I discovered this gem in the center of L'Aquila, a place that from the outside seems simple and small but once you enter it immediately amazes you with a spacious and well-furnished location. Studied down to the smallest detail, this restaurant manages to make you feel pampered at first glance, but once welcomed by Cecilia you immediately feel at home.
With his spontaneity and humility he manages to convey all the love and passion he puts into this dream of his and manages to immediately involve you in a culinary experience that goes beyond the simple meal.
With an almost "maternal" naturalness, Cecilia managed to introduce us into her enchanted world made up of all the dishes that her fantastic Chef thought up and created for her Malandrina.
We tasted a very particular sheep tartare which amazed us with its pungent delicacy, and then continued with two first courses (tortelli and bottoncini) which I would define as perfect opposites. The fresher and more enveloping tortello and the more pungent and full-bodied buttons.
Subsequently we were enraptured by Guancia, which I would compare to a love story:
It conquers you immediately with its aroma and makes you emotional just by the butteriness with which it melts with the fork, and finally makes you fall in love with the first bite, where the baby carrot cream envelops the meat in a balance of flavors disarming!
And lastly we concluded on a high note with two desserts (Charlie and Banalità) where their refinement and chocolate production certainly stood out but also the combinations which here too reflected what this experience was for us:
"complex simplicity"
I conclude by thanking Cecilia for the wonderful experience and the emotions she managed to convey to us, and I take this opportunity to congratulate the Chef and his team again!
We will definitely return from Rome to discover new dishes and immerse ourselves in a new adventure.

Une pâte à pizza ne ressemblant pas du tout à ce qu'on trouve habituellement. Farine complète et pâte légèrement levée, de ce fait on a l'impression de manger un excellent sandwich français. Je me suis régalée même si j'aurais aimé disposer d'huile piquante.

L’arredamento, le moto d’epoca e i vari complementi, tipo bilance e affettatrici antiche, trasmettono un’ospitale atmosfera tipicamente vintage. Le pizze sono buone, non sono molte da scegliere ma tutte sfiziose. L’impasto non è quello tradizionale, assomiglia più ha una focaccia, gli ingredienti sono di prima scelta. Personale gentile.

Bel locale nel pieno del passaggio della città. Ho provato una pizza gourmet e dolce. L’impasto della pizza buono, ma un po’ troppo compatto per il mio personalissimo punto di vista. Tutto perfetto, locale e servizio compresi. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono, approved!
