What can we say about a place like this other than that it's lucky that it exists?
Very small, family-run place with just over 20 seats.
Two girls, one in the dining room and the other in the kitchen, run this small tavern in the center of Montepulciano.
It's a bit of a blast from the past, typical cuisine of the area with a limited menu especially of meat, pici made in different ways, cuts and fillets.
Intimate place, family atmosphere, excellent cuisine, excellent hospitality.
Better to book as the place is small.

Small family run place. The owner is very friendly and helpful, traditional cuisine with the addition of a very well prepared and well executed fish menu. If you pass through Montepulciano it is impossible not to stop here

Siamo stati in questa locanda per il pranzo dell' 8 dicembre, in concomitanza con la visita al mercatino di Natale.
Occorre prenotare con largo anticipo considerando i pochi posti a disposizione ma l' attesa vale davvero tutto.
La proprietaria è gentilissima e stra professionale così come la cuoca in cucina.
I piatti sono semplici, non troppo elaborati ma deliziosi e con un rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente.
