Rich, tasty and not at all obvious Sunday tasting menu! Typical Piacenza specialties and vegetarian revisitation on request (I informed the very kind waiter as soon as I sat down). Please make a reservation because it is always full! And I'm not surprised given the wonderful lunch we enjoyed!

Giovanni's welcome, kindness and professionalism made our lunch truly unique, all the dishes we tasted were delicious, a beautiful restaurant in a magnificent setting.

We went for lunch today, very good dishes and all topped off with impeccable service from the guys in the dining room, especially the kindness and passion of Giovanni, a poet in describing every single dish. Super recommended. Andrea and Francesca

Ristorante eccellente pranzo ottimo, descritto in modo eccellente da Giovanni, preparato su tutto soprattutto sui vini consigliati ed abbinati. Cibo ottimo, vino eccellente, il prezzo per la qualità e la quantità é assai vantaggioso. Sicuramente da ritornarci, magari in primavera

Lunch in november. Het stadje is stil en lijkt uitgestorven. Gelukkig was dit restaurant open. Het is binnen gezellig en heeft een fantastisch uitzicht. Wij kozen voor een primi: tortelli con la coda en ravioli met pompoen. Ik heb nog nooit zulke lekkere pasta gegeten, goed klaargemaakt en de smaak was fantastisch. Bij het eten dronken we een rode wijn uit de regio, ook al zo lekker.Daarna was er een dolce: ijs met notenkoekjes. Als afsluiting koffie met een likeurtje (noccino voor mij). De bediening was goed: deskundig en attent. Was een fijne lunch en wij gingen blij naar huis.

Stamattina il cielo terso e il clima mite ci hanno convinti ad organizzare una gita fuori porta. Il nostro interesse si è spostato da Piacenza a questo piccolo borgo e lungo il viaggio abbiamo prenotato un tavolo in questo ristorante. Il borgo si è rilevato una poesia e il ristorante un'esperienza straordinaria. Il cameriere ci ha accompagnato lungo il nostro percorso degustativo con una attenzione e una bravura fuori dal comune. Abbiamo provato dei salumi misti, delle tartine al gorgonzola, delle polpettine con riso ed erbette e delle melanzane servite con una salsa a squisita. Ogni boccone era una gioia per il palato. Poi abbiamo gustato dei fantastici ravioli di zucca e alle erbette. A termine di questo lauto pranzo, abbiamo scelto un tortino al cioccolato, del gelato alla vaniglia e un semifreddo alle castagne. Un pranzo delizioso, con un panorama rilassante e un servizio ineccepibile. Grazie per la fantastica esperienza.
