Really great brewery/restaurant! Exquisite beer as well as the dishes. Particular location with wood and stone walls, suggestive candles. Accompanying music is appreciated. Absolutely recommended!

Excellent service. Delicious typical food. I go there for the testaroli and sgabei combined with an excellent draft beer.
Few places and reservations needed in advance to experience this journey through time. Perfect location and staff for a unique experience: experiencing an inn as a Norse warrior or an eighteenth-century sailor returning from a long sea voyage would experience. Traditional, substantial dishes and portions so generous that they bring even the most emaciated and unfortunate castaway to life, all accompanied by excellent musical choices and lighting that create the perfect atmosphere. A bubble of heroic courage, sincerity and desire to have fun (and organize future adventures) in the center of Spezia. I recommend booking in advance!

Abbiamo alloggiato in una delle camere gestite dalla Taverna e, viste le recensioni, abbiamo deciso di cenare presso di loro.
Inutile dire che è stata una scelta azzeccata.
Birre artigianali di qualità, cibo ottimo (menzione speciale allo stinco che non abbiamo fatto in tempo a fotografare e all' amaro all'arancia) e personale simpaticissimo e gentilissimo!
Non vediamo l'ora di tornarci!

Si trova in una via che collega Via Prione a Via XX Settembre, nella zona pedonale della città. Locale non tanto grande con tavoloni in legno stile medievale, illuminazione quasi tutta a candele. Si respira aria di buona birra e buon cibo ed infatti non si rimane delusi. La polenta con la gorgonzola è imperiale, quasi difficile da finire dato l'abbondante porzione, le patate vestite sono tutte da assaggiare. Ottime birre ed ottime grappe. In 6 abbiamo cenato spendendo 150€. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Accettano animali. Prenotazione consigliata visto che tiene al massimo 30/40 persone. Alla prossima.....
