La Vineria In Aosta

Super nice place along the main street of Aosta a few meters away from the arch of Augustus. Typical products of the region accompanied by the kindness of the staff. A very pleasant place to have an aperitif and pass the time! Great selection of wines, beers and other local products. Lastly, excellent musical selection.

Dopo anni di frequentazione della città e dei suoi tantissimi locali, mi sento di dire che La Vineria è il migliore, per un aperitivo di estrema qualità. Taglieri con affettati molto buoni e formaggi classici valdostani ma che non ti stancheresti mai di mangiare. Ovviamente la carta dei vini è il pezzo forte del locale che offre anche diverse bollicine (incluse locali) al calice. Mettete in conto 25/30€ per tagliere e due calici. Super consigliato!

I don't usually write reviews often; the fact, however, of having found myself in the La Vineria wine shop a few days ago in correspondence with a situation recently reviewed as negative above, moved me, even just for the record. I evidently recognize myself (I remember well) in the alleged friend to whom the owner paid attention while a couple was paying the bill, slowing down the operation. First of all, I am NOT a friend of the owners but, living in Lombardy, I frequent the place when I occasionally allow myself a few days of peace in this wonderful valley. The attention I received from the owner is that which she reserves for all customers in general. In this specific case I remember that she was busy making the bill for the couple, exchanging a few sentences with me at the same time, but duly carrying the operation forward. There wasn't a wait of minutes, at most an interlude of a few seconds. At this point I wonder how it is possible to label people with a lack of professionalism who, as I see it and not only, love their job and always try to enhance (because they are competent here) what they propose. There have been times when I was the one waiting a little, but since I wasn't the only customer in the place it seemed normal to me. This is not a wellness center, where at the center of attention, at the center of the room, at the center of the hour of treatments that (vibrantly) I bought, there is exclusively ME alone, the "worthy" absolute protagonist of the service I paid for. Here "others" also exist, not just one's own microcosm, a unique and severe point of view on the universe. There are smiles, conviviality, soft lights, the reflections of the bottles on the shelves... and time, which is not just personal time. Let's try to be "the others" every now and then...

Sono andato a fare una degustazione regalataci da amici con la mia compagna e siamo usciti con cinque sacchetti pieni di cose deliziose. Personale gentile e competente sempre pronto a dare consigli preziosi.

Bel aperitivo a prezzi ottimi, professionale la signora che ci ha serviti. Ampia scelta di vini locali.

Ottima scelta di vini valdostani e buon cibo. Ottimo il panino con salsiccia fresca e funduta

We had a nice break at La Vineria in Aosta Italy, after strolling in streets of its old town. The lady who served us was very friendly. A nice cosy place.
