10/12/2023: Questo ristorante non e’ solo cibo ma è italianità pura! Andrea e suo fratello sono la mente e le mani di un luogo che è arrivato a farsi conoscere anche da personaggi famosi come Stanley Tucci in cerca di luoghi dove assaporare la vera cucina italiana. Qui senti tutta l’Umbria, nel piatto e nel cuore, dalla mamma che seduta in un angolo osserva i suoi figli che hanno preso il suo posto in cucina, dal tartufaro che entra e porta il prezioso ingrediente appena raccolto, dai commensali venuti apposta da altre città solo per “ assaggiare “ l’ autenticità che rappresenta questo posto !

01/08/2023: No menus, so take a phone if you have one! Old people without a phone struggle. We borrowed a phone from a young waiter so we could see the menu. The owner is a wine expert so expect to be sold a bottle with an explanation of its origins. We ordered a 20 euro bottle of Trebiano but got a 22 euro bottle of the owner's choice. No 14 euro Pinot Grigio in stock! What a surprise. As for the food, the bruschetta starter was good. My wife's main of beef with mushrooms and truffle was cooked rare, when she ordered medium. My meatballs were tasty. Sadly we waited 35 minutes between them serving the starter and the main course. We had to ask twice for a second bottle of water. We seemed to be forgotten once the owner had sold us the wine of his choice. It's clearly a popular place as we did not reserve a table and it was very busy on a Tuesday evening. Our table near the kitchen door was the only available at 8pm. A bill of 77 euros that included a 10% service charge made this an expensive meal for a weekday, but we might give it another go when we are back in Umbria next year. I must buy a mobile phone before then so I can get the menu!
