Very good local cuisine, appetizers of cured meats and sausages and local cheeses, very good EVO oil of own production. The first courses were delicious, with very good kebabs and vegetables. Final gem offered by Fabrizio, the owner, 8 homemade distillates: gentian, saffron distillate and without words the rosolio.

We had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant after a motorbike ride. We ate very well, really good meat. Informal environment, quick service and friendly staff. Very honest prices. We will definitely be back!

We were at Easter, there were about twenty of us in the family... what can I say, always at the top despite the public holiday. Fabrizio is a guarantee and his wife is an exceptional cook. My favorite restaurant.....

If you are passing through, you absolutely must stop in this typical family-run restaurant, with really excellent prices and delicious, super generous portions. local products and their production, from cured meats to all vegetables, from homemade pasta to liqueurs kindly offered by the owner. Obviously we couldn't miss tasting the famous kebabs! Highly recommended!

The food is very good and the products, both to the eye and to the taste, are beautiful and genuine. The service is excellent, nothing is ever missing at the table and you don't need to ask. As far as the environment is concerned, I would have preferred more diffused lights rather than spotlights with direct light. The atmosphere overall is pleasant. Excellent experience. I advise.

We went there after a weekend spent in Pescasseroli, (booking a few days in advance) an hour's drive passing through Scanno with a visit to the lake, but it's absolutely worth it, excellent cured meats and cheeses, the first courses good but what is really the highlight is the mixed grill with potatoes, I recommend taking half a first course each otherwise you won't get the second course, friendly and super fast staff, they really make you feel at home, we can't skip this stop when we're in those parts

Ci tornerei tutti i giorni se fosse più vicino!! Antipasti con salumi caserecci, verdure ben fatte e formaggi di qualità. Primi con pasta (davvero) fatta in casa, equilibrio di sapori (porcini e tartufo top!) e porzioni stra-abbondanti. Secondi ottimi, gustosi, cotti perfettamente ed anche qui più che abbondanti. Dolce da degna conclusione. Liquori della mamma (fatti in casa) e caffè generosamente offerti. Il tutto ad un prezzo STRACCIATO e con servizio cortese ed attento da parte del proprietario. Mi fermerò tutte le volte che sarò in zona, senza alcun dubbio!

Alla ricerca di un ristorante di cucina nostrana in una montagna, approfittando delle ottime recensioni e delle indicazioni di qualche amico motociclista, ci rechiamo al ristorante le Gole di Anversa degli Abruzzi. Ristorante molto affollato, è il primo novembre, il proprietario e il ragazzo di servizio alla cucina entrambi gentilissimi ci fanno accomodare e ci consigliano per il meglio. Prendiamo un antipasto della casa, veramente buono fatto di sott'olio, verdure grigliate, fegatini di agnello, salumi prelibatissimi e formaggi nostrani. Ottimo! Per non esagerare saltiamo il primo e ... arriva a tavola un ottimo arrosto misto con agnello salsicce ed arrosticini, cotti alla perfezione sulla brace. Adagiato anche la scamorza al brace con le alici. Il tutto con delle buonissime patate al forno rustiche e tagliate a dischi, ancora con la buccia. Abbiamo un compleanno e quindi crostata buonissima con candelina e assaggio di tiramisù. Il tutto condito da millefiori, genziana, rosolio e caffè. Il conto onestissimo €24 a testa, considerando acqua acque liscia e gassate e vino della casa. Nota bene, il proprietario ci ha offerto anche lo spumante! Da visitare senza se e ma.

11/03/2024: Let's start by saying that you will be faced with something very different from usual. I would say unique in terms of raw materials, combinations, workmanship and taste. Smoked red turnips, grapes, strawberries and rocket, and lentils with hazelnut cream are the best dishes on the tasting menu. Let's get to the notes that are a little out of tune in my opinion. 1) Price - tasting menu at 210. I believe that in the presence of a raw material with minimal food cost (all plant-based) the research work and processing cannot justify the price (otherwise carnivorous menus or with raw materials of value would be at least double). 2) Quantity - I added 4 dishes to the menu. The quantities are really minimal and I would suggest increasing them. I would suggest increasing the quantity and variety of bread brought to the table. 3) speed of service - for the average of lunches in starred restaurants we went very quickly. I would have expected more information on the research work and preparations. 4)I took wines by the glass. Normal and local wines. 25 euros per glass. An insane price (basically if I had known beforehand I would have gotten the wine pairing for 100 euros). Nobody warned us though. Would I go back? Yes but not at that price.
