Arriviamo a cena con grandi aspettative, purtroppo disattese. Locale piccolo, accoglienza un pochino fredda (sarà la pioggia incessante!). Proposta interessante sulla carta ma preparazioni che non soddisfano a pieno, in particolare il vitello. Carta dei vini discreta. In generale l'esperienza rimane "a metà"!

Very nice room, tidy and clean, not too large and equipped with every comfort. The only flaw was that the heating was off. Excellent location a stone's throw from the lake and the main square.

Delicious and intimate 5 course chefs meal. Beware it’s not the easiest to get to. Park close by and walk into the old town to get there.

Dit hotel ligt midden in het historische centrum. Dit heeft vanzelfsprekend voordelen en ook wat nadelen. Het vinden van een parkeerplek was echt een drama. Net buiten het stadje zijn een aantal grote parkeerplaatsen, deze waren echter allemaal vol. Met zeer veel geduld lukte het een plekje te vinden. Houdt hier rekening mee. Wij konden om 14u inchecken en toen we naar onze kamer werden gebracht bleek deze nog niet schoongemaakt te zijn. We kregen een excuus in woorden, maar verder werd ons eigenlijk vriendelijk verzocht ons ergens een uur te gaan vermaken. Om 15u was de kamer wel klaar. De kamer is klein, maar wel sfeervol. De badkamer is prettig. Het ontbijt op het dakterras is ok, met name de locatie en het uitzicht maken het een bijzondere ervaring. De bediening is ok, maar het ontbijt is iedere dag precies hetzelfde. Over het algemeen hebben wij met plezier een aantal nachten in dit hotel verbleven.

Il locale è molto bello al suo interno, accogliente ed elegante. Il servizio è attento, premuroso e puntuale. Decidiamo di ordinare dalla carta un primo e un secondo a testa. Tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato ci è piaciuto davvero tanto: il benvenuto della cucina (una serie di piccoli assaggi fantasiosi e molto belli da vedere), le tagliatelle al ragù di anatra e crema di foie gras, gli spaghetti all’aglio e calamari spillo, l’agnello con crema di piselli e il rombo con le zucchine. Anche i dolci erano deliziosi: la granita come pre dessert, la White rose, le 50 sfumature di cioccolato e la piccola (e sfiziosa) pasticceria finale. Con un caffè e bevendo solo acqua abbiamo speso 225 euro, un conto coerente con quanto mangiato. Lo consigliamo e speriamo di tornare.

Endroit très agréable au cœur d’Orta chambre petite moderne fonctionnelle. Une belle terrasse panoramique pour prendre un excellent petit déjeuner. Très bon rapport qualité prix

Fantastic location in a fantastic little town on the Lago di Orta. A bit touristy but then again this is what we came for. Loved the room with the jacuzzi, and indeed it is a bit noisy when dinner is finishing up but we loved the dinner on the rooftop ourselves so no complaints. Service was impeccable and we enjoyed dinner at the bistro and the view! Great wine list also . Pity breakfast only starts at 08.30 as we had an early departure. Great hotel, great bistro, will be back for the Michelin star restaurant!
