Having dinner or lunch here always has something special. It may be the room overlooking the waterfall, it may be the beauty of the Casentino but as soon as I have the chance, I make a stop at the Hospital. The selection of wines (Il Puro, my favourite), the first courses, the meat and the desserts. Even just for breakfast, it's worth going there

The place is not in bad shape structurally. Placed to eat next to the waterfall, yes nice and whatever you like but from the noise the waterfall makes you have to raise your voice to talk to the guy at the table. I have to say I expected more on the food. Cacio e pepe doesn't taste like cacio e pepe. The staff is very friendly, courteous, professional. Prices are a little high but that's the average now... But if the saying "spend what you eat" is true, something doesn't add up here.

Siamo stati oggi a pranzo. Abbiamo fatto un salto nel passato, ricordando i pranzi di mia suocera, nativa di un paese vicino a Stia. Ricette realmente originali, materie prime ottime.
Crostini squisiti. Tortelli di patate ... ottimi, squisiti con sugo di condimento. Topini ( o gnocchi, in italiano) di una morbidezza...affatto pesanti, delicati. Il sugo in bianco di coniglio più che ottimi.
Di secondo pollo e carciofi fritti. Sia il pollo, offerto nelle " parti nonili" senza un osso, con una frittura non pesante.
Il tutto accompagnato da un vino chianti puro senza soliti
Ed infine fiocchi frittelle vecchio stile.

The kindness and passion conveyed by all the staff are to be commended. Raw material of excellent quality: tartare with egg and black truffle (very fragrant and tasty) to start, an amazing stew (dish of the day) with a sauce to be dipped into, accompanied by a very delicate homemade purée. The tagliatelle with meat sauce taken by my wife were also excellent, always homemade. Honorable mention for the crème brûlé! We will be back to test the whole menu.

Sia B&B che ristorante fantastici. Camere accoglienti e ben curate con Wi-Fi gratuito, riscaldamento a pavimento e molto pulito. Il ristorante annesso ha personale gentilissimo e ben disposto a consigliare. I piatti sono tipici e locali preparati con cura. Da non perdere i tortelli ma soprattutto i dolci. Colazione fantastica con tutta la pasticceria a disposizione
