L'Osteria Baccus In Pienza

We returned after several years, Baccus' cuisine is always a guarantee. Nice typical and characteristic restaurant in the center of beautiful Pienza. Highly recommended.

All perfect. Host was amazing. We came 2 nights in a row and food and everything was amazin. Wish you all the best except in June in Germany against my team CROATIA!! 😄💪🏼

Here you can find the real Florentine... Highly recommended! Even the pici are super good! The owner very kind and welcoming. If I have to nitpick, the portions of the first courses could be a little more generous since it is after all a tavern. For the rest, a super pleasant experience. Thank you ! P.S If you have children think carefully, the place does not have high chairs by choice of the property.

We had SUCH an enjoyable meal at Baccus! The food was true Tuscan style. The owner shared stories of his life adventures in the Amazon and Africa and offered us a free tasting of his favorite, Spinello, after dinner drink! I would highly recommend Baccus L Osteria!

Quality restaurant in Pienza Menu as it once was - few choices but all well thought out and prepared. Friendly owner and very attentive to customers - a pleasure to have met him. Don't hesitate to try you won't regret it!

Because I went during break time, I wasn't able to eat the signature dishes such as pasta and steak. I ate salami + prosciutto + cheese and goat cheese recommended by the owner, and tiramisu for dessert. Even though I couldn't eat the main dish, I was very satisfied with my experience here. The owner is so kind. Of all the places I've traveled so far, including my favorite Korean restaurant, this was the friendliest and most enjoyable experience. If you don't go when it's too busy, you'll definitely have an enjoyable experience! It is difficult to comment on the taste of the food since it was a simple dish, but the prosciutto and salami were not salty and the cheese was of good quality. The tiramisu was also full of flavor and tasted good. The reviews about the food here are very good, but it's a shame that I couldn't try the main dish. I will definitely try it on my next trip to Italy.

Excellent food, honest prices and kind and friendly staff!

Se passi da Pienza Baccus non può non attirare la tua attenzione. Ha l’aria della vecchia osteria di paese sempre piena. Entriamo e siamo fortunati che ci trovano un posto. Prendiamo cacio e pepe veramente buona e una fiorentina come ne abbiamo mangiate poche. Forse un po’ salato il conto è oste un po’ troppo simpatico ..

Ho mangiato in questo ristorante durante una visita a Pienza per lavoro. Ho ordinato un crostone con pecorino e lardo molto buono, ma il vero piatto forte sono stati i pici alla cacio e pepe, eccezionali! Ne avrei mangiati volentieri un altro po'. Oste gentile e disponibile. Conto onesto, avendo bevuto acqua ho speso 30€.
