I've been to the Masticabrodo restaurant and had a mixed experience. Although the menu needs improvement, with a more refined presentation than a simple piece of disposable paper, I must admit that the wine list was a pleasant surprise. The Nabucco was particularly outstanding. The charcuterie tasting was divine, even if the salami didn't fully meet my expectations.
The flakes of 24-month aged parmigiano reggiano were delicious, while the crispy polenta was decent but not exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming, which made the experience very pleasant. The anolini, then, were simply divine, with an incredible filling!
The environment was very calm and peaceful, probably because I arrived around 11am. However, the prices were a little above average, but considering the quality of the food and service, it was definitely worth it!

It's the third time we've had lunch at this restaurant and it's the third time we've eaten really well. The 5 stars are all deserved, for the quality of the products, the choice of dishes, the service, the convivial environment and the good quality/price ratio.

Excellent quality traditional dishes!
They gave us the opportunity to have dinner at 10pm on Saturday, as the place was full and we hadn't booked, we really appreciated it!

An externally anonymous place, which appears closed if you don't look carefully, a stone's throw from the Torrechiara castle... come closer!
For a business lunch, at 2pm, I came across here attracted by the very positive reviews. I was greeted with a nice smile and immediately served. I opted for tagliatelle with rabbit ragout, cooked to perfection, melt-in-your-mouth and tasty. A very good first course, even if slightly over-seasoned... afterwards, I chose some baked vegetables, which I found special. Right portions and fair price. Typical traditional dishes to be savored!! I'll be back

Locale con un’atmosfera e bellissima, veranda super accogliente, personale cordiale, gentile e premuroso.
Ci siamo abbuffati con antipasti di salumi, un assaggio di cappelletti e dei secondi.

Arrivati qui per pranzo piuttosto tardi siamo stati accolti da personale giovane disponibile e preparato.
Qualità indiscutibile delle materie prime del territorio (abbiamo assaggiato sia il salame felino sia il parmigiano 24 mesi), ottimi il tortino di zucca con fonduta di parmigiano e i tagliolini al prosciutto di Parma, il giusto equilibrio tra tradizione e innovazione. Anche il vino di un produttore locale ci ha favorevolmente stupito.
Peccato non aver assaggiato anche altro, ma eravamo reduci da una degustazione in un vicino prosciuttificio.
Vien proprio la voglia di tornare con più calma per un percorso dall’antipasto al dolce.
Prezzi più che onesti a fronte di quanto offerto.
