Hotel with adequate rooms and a welcoming bathroom. But it goes a long way to be considered a 4-star superior. Barely passable breakfast, absolutely poorly prepared cuisine. What a pity!!!!

At the end of July 2023, on the occasion of our wedding, we booked this structure for our guests. Modica boasts many hotel facilities, many of which are very beautiful. A few months before the wedding we chose Modica Palace Hotel because, in addition to being an excellent hotel, elegant, spacious, clean, very well looked after, with a splendid garden, the strong point was the swimming pool in order to make our guests' stay more pleasant. guests (which is missing in many structures, especially in the historic center of the city). Before confirming our choice, I reiterated to the director the importance of the swimming pool and that I had no doubts about the choice specifically for the swimming pool. He is a very clear person, he sent me an email with the prices and the free cancellation policy within 7 days before and we left the first deposit requested by the director's email. A few months later, in the middle of spring, I go to the hotel to leave a list of the rooms with the names (almost 30 rooms and some rooms booked for 2-3 nights) and I meet Elisa at the reception. Elisa promptly warned me, however, that for the date we booked the swimming pool and garden would be closed for a private event. At that point I was disappointed, I pointed it out, but I let everything slide because there were a lot of pre-wedding preparations and in addition to the time that was missing, I don't think that in May I would have found myself in a beautiful tourist city like Modica around 30 rooms in another facility. Unfortunately, a violent fire broke out at Catania airport a few days before our wedding and 40% of our guests were traveling by plane. I immediately contacted all the suppliers of our wedding. The suppliers, despite the various policies and contracts, came to our aid. The manager of the Modica Palace Hotel demanded either confirmation or cancellation because once the 7 days of the free cancellation policy had exceeded I would still have paid for the rooms. Unfortunately, the MODICA PALACE HOTEL did not accommodate our inconvenience even though there were only 2-3 rooms out of almost 30 booked. I accept the cancellation policy of the structure, but in my opinion the director's attitude was absolutely not professional, we must always be correct at 360 degrees. Unfortunately I felt cheated... how is it possible that such a precise and correct person such as the director, scrupulously compliant with the rules and ensuring that customers respect them, forgot that on July 22nd there was a private event in the hotel? For me it was not correct behavior. Maintaining a professional attitude until the end is the key to leaving a positive memory. I conclude this review by thanking Elisa, Deborah, Lucrezia and Fabio, professional, competent, respectful, collaborative figures, praised by all our guests. Elisa, in addition to being a professional of the highest level, revealed herself to be a wonderful, transparent, sincere and honest person, a force of nature, because in addition to excellent mastery of her profession, excellent in front office and welcoming guests, very strong in organizational and problem solving skills, she proved to be a humanly exceptional person with extraordinary relational and communication skills.

Hotel molto funzionale e bello ,buon confort. camere pulite e spaziose , ottimo mangiare , personale gentile e simpatico . a circa 200/300 mt ci sono centri commerciali grandi , però bisogna fare la strada senza marciapiede e quindi di sera e’ pericoloso perché le macchine ti passano vicinissimo , ma questa non è colpa dell’hotel.

This is a comfortable, modern hotel. Although we were with a large group, the check-in process was efficient. The rooms are large, clean and well-appointed - although a few more power outlets would be nice. The food at our group dinner was just what we needed - good and plentiful without being too fussy. Service was friendly and fast. The breakfast buffet selection was generous and it was a treat to be able to eat outside with a view of the pool.

Excellent all round. Quiet, spacious rooms, good A/C. Great pool, garden and outdoor spaces. Friendly and helpful.

We🇲🇹🇲🇹 Maltese spend 3 nights at Modica Palace Hotel as a family and we can say that the Hotel and staff were excellent.understand and speaks also English language..clean rooms and safe environment. Parking inside hotel with good facilities and closed electric gate and mostly very quite relaxing place.good breakfast and lovely pool. We strongly recommend this Hotel ....

Sempre una certezza, pulito comodo e accogliente. Punto focale per visitare Modica e limitrofi.

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Bella anche la piscina.
