It was recommended to us by the locals, very welcoming environment, excellent food, as if grandmother had prepared it with all her heart, top service, we thank Mattia for his friendliness and hospitality, every single guest feels at home, super advised!

Professionalism, hospitality and excellent gastronomic specialties. Chalet immersed in the heart of Amiata, well maintained and with a characteristic fireplace inside. Every single dish was exquisite, delicious and well served by a nice and very friendly owner. We highly recommend the bread soup, the lamb in sauce and the ricciolina for dessert. We will definitely be back!

Perfect for enjoying the mountain landscape from inside a restaurant complete with a lit path and enjoying truly excellent food. Dishes as tradition teaches with quality ingredients. Furthermore, no less important is the house wine as an accompaniment. Friendly and welcoming service.

Let me start by saying that I'm Roman, so I ended up there by chance one evening, right at the last minute. I ate very well! Really good, I drank well, I felt at home, with the owner who really entered our hearts. We were a group of friends and his hospitality and cheerfulness, despite the place being full, struck us. I only regret that I live more than two hours away, because otherwise I would be there every week. Fair price.

Genuine food, authentic flavours. In the owner you can see the commitment, enthusiasm and passion for what he does and it is all reflected in the choice of what he offers. We took advice from him and tried more things. The craft chestnut beer he offered us was also very good. We will be back to try the rest! From our experience, practically everything was perfect, and I say this as a person who has worked in the sector for years, with even a hint of envy for the professionalism and ability to make anything at all trivial seem simple. Place: welcoming, well-kept, full of small details that make you feel at ease at all times (special note for the lit fireplace and the beautiful folk music playlist). Service: attentive, highly competent, discreet, professional and at the same time approachable. Food: quality of the raw materials, balance of flavours, balanced and never invasive experimentation. I live a four-hour drive from Osteria 101 and I would go back and try their snails again: the best I've ever ordered in a restaurant. Really great price for what we ate. At the end of lunch we stopped to talk to Mattia, the owner: a person passionate about his work and his mountains, with an authentic, genuine restaurant philosophy far removed from the shortcuts of many trendy places. We can only wish him the best for his business: we will return as soon as we can!
