Osteria with a modest and discreet appearance but with food of extraordinary quality. The brodo with tortellini was simply delicious, and the frittura was splendid, very well fried. The owner and cook, Mrs. Agnese, is an endearing woman.

Cuisine of the past, good and sincere dishes that you appreciate for their taste. Meat always of excellent quality, cooked in various ways and all worth trying. If you are in Macerata it is impossible not to go. The place is small and always crowded, I recommend booking.

L'osteria Agnese nasce probabilmente come rosticceria a cui si sono aggiunti alcuni tavoli per chi desidera mangiare in loco ed evitare l'asporto. L'ambiente è molto semplice e alla buona. I piatti rispettano la tradizione locale, sono sempre abbondanti e risultano buoni ma un po' troppo grassi. Ottima la frittura vegetariana di antipasto che però è un po' cara (non ricordo se 15 o 20 euro). Prendendo due piatti (antipasto e un secondo) un po' di vino e un dolce la spesa è intorno ai 40 euro (forse un po' troppo). Il servizio è veloce e gentilissimo.

Osteria trovata per caso in una giornata di lavoro a Macerata. Locale essenziale, ma personale molto gentile e disponibile. Il cibo è buono ed il servizio è stato rapido. Ottima qualità/prezzo. Lo consiglio

04/04/2024: Very good sushi, a lot of choice. They don't speak a lot of English but we manage to communicate!
01/04/2024: Renovated premises. The menu offers you-can-eat and à la carte service. For the choice of menu I was disappointed because I expected a wide choice, but it was very limited, in my opinion. We ordered the hot food and it was delicious. Then comes the salmon hosomaki but alas, the noori seaweed had something that tasted like whiskey and we were incredulous, because even all the sushi we were served afterwards had a whiskey fragrance.
