Excellent dishes of Tuscan cuisine, tasty and with some gems such as pumpkin pie and grilled pecorino wrapped in rigatino. The osso bucco deserves a special mention, tender and tasty. Remarkable house wine, even the desserts are good! We were welcomed kindly and ate well at a fair price!

The entrance is inconspicuous and the place is quite small, but it is a great place to enjoy Tuscan cuisine. Reservation advisable. We took pici cacio e pepe and fiorentina. All good quality. The service is pleasant, the place is clean and the quality-price ratio is more than satisfactory.

Small, but welcoming and characteristic place. The owner welcomed us with kindness and friendliness. We ate very well; the ribollita is super and the meat is quality. It's always good to book because it has few places... and many customers! Highly recommended

Come ho scritto nel titolo, questo ristorante è uno dei miei preferiti della mia città. I primi e soprattutto i secondi sono veramente ottimi, particolari e fatti con ingredienti di qualità. Gli antipasti sono sfiziosi e il vino è buono. Il locale non è enorme, ma i tavoli non sono assolutamente attaccati. L'atmosfera è tranquilla. I prezzi sono allineati con quelli degli altri locali cittadini (20-30€, a seconda di cosa si prende). Un consiglio: provate la tagliata, è veramente deliziosa!

Locale semicentrale, abbastanza tranquillo. Sono stato a cena ed ho assaggiato un crostone con burrata, pomodoro e salsa d'acciughe; ho proseguito con dei pici alle briciole di pane fritto con pomodorini e filetti di acciughe ed ho concluso con una tagliata di capocollo con cipolle caramellate e radicchio. Piatti buoni, spazi abbastanza ampi per la media di Siena, servizio cortese, prezzi medio bassi: complessivamente una buona esperienza.

Il Grillo e Buoncantore

02/03/2024: Beautiful Slowfood tavern where everything is fresh and certified. Dishes always fresh and all reflect seasonality. Typical menu of southern Tuscany, with masterful use of local cured meats, vegetables, pastas and meats. The wine list is well stocked, with many slow wines. The desserts that change according to the season are also excellent. The welcome from the staff and the owner, who is now a great expert chef of the alliance, was very welcome. Fair prices.
04/02/2024: Very nice host, very good food... romantic dinner setting. Prices a little above average. Coffee pods decanted as if it were kopi Luwak (just kidding😅) paid €3 but no thanks... I totally recommend a commercial coffee and charging €1.50 which is better!
