We had unforgettable food throughout our travels in Italy, however this restaurant was by far the #1 of all!!! Thank you for an exceptional dinner we will never forget — the delicious food being prepared truly from sea to kitchen to table (the latter all before our very eyes), with fennel liquor made by the family nonna, to the chef and his wife’s warm hospitality.everything here is done with taste, attention to detail, and love. This was exactly the restaurant we were looking for in Italy. The food was excellent and traditional. The prices were better than expected, and the staff were wonderful.
It's hidden away down an alley off the main pedestrian shopping area but worth the search.

The food was among the best I’ve had in Italy. We sat outside. It is in a small alley, away from others with many walls that are painted with charming scenes. The woman who ssrved us was vey friendly and responsive. A desert made with buffalo ricotta, pear, caramel and cream was really special. Highly recommended.

Located in a small alley in the center, almost hidden, it is a small place with few seats.
The environment is very rustic, almost home-made.
The dishes are cooked in the same environment where the open kitchen is located behind a counter.
We had fish first and second courses. A la carte.
Very fresh raw material.
Top cooking and taste of everything we tasted:
Spaghetti with clams, pasta with calamarata. This last top.
As a second course, cod (excellent) and calamari, you think.
Good portions.
Good service.
The bill is honest.
It is highly recommended to book by telephone given the limited availability of places.

Piccolo ristorante, più una trattoria.
Buona scelta sul menu, appena seduti ci hanno mostrato il pesce fresco.
Buonissimi tutti i fritti a base di alici e calamari, ottimo il baccalà alla pizzaiola.
Gli spaghetti alle vongole erano piuttosto salati, e le vongole piccine e non troppo saporite.
Conto molto contenuto (in 8, tutti abbiamo preso antipasto e un primo o secondo, due bottiglie di Greco di Tufo, quattro di acqua) abbiamo pagato 250 euro.
Limoncello offerto dalla casa.

Già dalla prenotazione avevamo buone aspettative in quanto la signora è stata molto cordiale. La posizione del ristorante è ottima, in centro a Salerno. L’accoglienza è stata molto gradita, anche per il modo in cui hanno trattato il nostro cagnolino. Per quanto riguarda la cena, abbiamo ordinato gli spaghetti con pesto di pistacchio, cozze e pecorino, i paccheri con pescespada e friggitelli, una frittura di calamari e gamberi e una frittura di alici. Gli spaghetti erano eccezionali, i paccheri buonissimi e le fritture non erano per niente pesanti, e unte. La location è molto intima grazie ai pochi coperti e ben pulita
