I simply describe the stars given to each "entry". The 5 stars for the kindness of the staff. The 3 stars for the food because, personally, the dishes left me annoyed, without having to think of a "this dish is very good" or even a "I didn't like it at all". The environment is a bit sacrificed: - or you are sitting in the entrance hall, with the door opening and closing at every "cigarette break" of some customer; - or you can sit in the other room, where the bathroom is located. I renew my congratulations for the service but for the rest I don't go beyond satisfactory.

Quiet and familiar environment, feeling at home, with good Milanese food, modest without frills, a pleasant surprise where you can taste typical Milanese dishes. Courtesy and attention to guests, the tavern where you can organize a peaceful dinner. Very satisfied with everything, I highly recommend.

It's the first time we've come to this place, but it definitely won't be the last! The experience was truly excellent from every point of view. The interior of the restaurant is very simple, warm with that atmosphere that one expects to find in a real tavern, and this is it! The cordial and familiar air is immediately perceptible and is transmitted by the affability of the dining room staff who guide us through the choice of the menu. Well, a first really positive element is the transparency and honesty that we found in the suggestions that were given to us while we were about to choose what to eat. In this case, the words of the manager who suggested us not to overdo the orders given the abundance of the dishes chosen were truly auspicious and very much appreciated: we wouldn't have been able to eat everything if we hadn't listened to him! Another important element, indeed, for me as a wine lover I would say that it alone would be worth the visit, is that in this restaurant the corkage fee is applied at only €2. The discussion on corkage rights, unfortunately so little widespread and unfortunately so expensive where it is present, deserves a separate chapter! Well, here the honesty in the mark-up is an element that will certainly make me come back to be able to combine their food with some very respectable labels that I own. And so here we are at the food chapter, because the right to cork is fine... but if the food to match isn't up to par... well there would be some problems! However, even in this case the opinion was unanimously positive. The dishes chosen, from a varied menu with tempting proposals ranging from traditional dishes from Lombardy, Tuscany and Puglia, are really well made and all with excellent raw materials. Starting from the selection of cold cuts based on Tuscan wild boar, with semi-mature pecorino di Pienza. The cabbage rolls stuffed with meat are also excellent. As a main course, my partner, my cousin and I headed for the saffron risotto with ossobuco: superb! Perfect rice cooking, very tender meat and touching marrow! The orecchiette with chop that my children took were also excellent and delicious, as was the Milanese cutlet taken by my cousin. In short, a truly fantastic dinner, washed down with two bottles coming directly from Fabio Scarpitti's wine shop: an Ipatia from Terre Nobili, a Calabrian blend of Nerello Cappuccio and Mascalese and an Amarone from Corte San Benedetto. Sincere congratulations!

All very good! Modest prices and good food. Here you will find the real Milanese cutlet. Tender meat cooked perfectly and superb. Never had such a good cutlet! We tried takeout and everything works super well. Precise collection, all ready and hot to enjoy at home in complete tranquility. The only small flaw was that there were very few takeaway potatoes

We liked everything, we will return with friends. I add a very important note for us: you are 700m from home, so a short walk without using the car 😉🫠🤩

Il riso con l’ossobuco è molto buono, se pure troppo salato per i miei gusti, è la dose era bassa per un piatto unico. La cotoletta invece era poco croccante e unta, come se fosse stata cotta a temperatura troppo bassa. Prezzi troppo alti.

Excellent food and wine, impecable service and wonderful atmosphere in a family business who proposes well prepared typical milanese food.

Ero già stato alcuni anni fa e devo dire che ho ritrovato la medesima atmosfera, un po' da "vecchia Milano" per intenderci. Piatti della tradizione ben curati, locale pulito e attenzione per il cliente. Migliorerei il pane e la qualità dei vini a bicchiere (già il fatto di proporli è molto positivo comunque). Prezzi medio alti
