One of the best places in the whole province where you can eat the best of Reggio Emilia cuisine, with some more sophisticated touches. Extremely respectful of exceptional raw materials.
Everything I ate and that of the other guests was delicious. Of course, those cappelletti in broth are truly moving because of how perfect they are in everything (size, taste, broth).

Dinner with friends to celebrate retirement. We had a great time, everything was delicious with special praise for the amazing cappelletti. For chocolate lovers it is worth trying chocolate therapy as a dessert.
I highly recommend this restaurant and thanks to the very nice and affable owners.

Everything was well taken care of, the attention to detail made the difference. The food is excellent and always presented very well. The staff is pleasant, friendly and professional. The location is modern and elegant. Fair price quality, they have many gluten-free options for starters and main courses, in the first courses the choice was very limited.

Very nice and welcoming place.
The dishes are both traditional (excellent cappelletti and gnocco) but there are many special proposals. Personally I recommend the egg 65 and the stuffed pasta.
High quality desserts.
Beyond the food, a big note of credit goes to the innkeeper! Who is the senior starter. Kind, smiling, professional and never invasive. He kept us company for a few minutes, briefly telling us the history of the place.
In short, a place to go and eat and feel good.

I honestly expected more. A lot of creativity and research into particular textures, flavors and combinations, but the result is not exceptional and in my opinion has many flaws. I found the pecorino romano in the filling of the buttons to completely cover the flavor of the meat. My wife's starter was not very tasty, while the venison was too salty and also a little tough. Even the dessert, the meringue burger, didn't excite me, it was a bit cloying. Let's say that the presentations were there, but the flavors were not, in my humble opinion.
The location is beautiful, but on Valentine's Day the tables are too close together, bringing the atmosphere down a notch.

È proprio vero,quando si dice: il primo amore non si scorda mai. In questo casa per me è l' osteria di Scandiano. Può capitare ,che non andiamo spesso come in altri anni ,ma appena arriviamo davanti alla magnifica villa ,che ospita l' osteria una miriade di emozioni e ricordi ti assalgono. Da li in poi inizia quel meraviglioso, viaggio culinario che avevi quasi dimenticato. Un accoglienza guasi familiare, un servizio straordinario, piatti stupendi e deliziosi. Scambiare due chiacchiere con i proprietari mentre attendi l a portata successiva non a prezzo.

Locale di classe superiore. Anzi, non bisogna farsi confondere dal nome: non è un'osteria, ma un ristorante da stella Michelin, grazie a un servizio inappuntabile offerto da un esercito di camerieri in sala.
Nessun appunto sul cibo, né sul vino (forse un po' alto di prezzo rispetto ad altri locali che l'hanno in menu). Dagli antipasti ai dolci è un percorso di gusti straordinari.
Spesa: 2 portate più dolce sono 65.-€ a testa, ma li vale tutti.
