A wonderful little restaurant with a warm host who immediately makes you feel at home. The dishes are excellent, at their best. The wild boar goulash and the beef cheeks are a real treat. We also had roasted potatoes and, as a recommendation, whole Roman artichokes fried in olive oil (you can eat them completely with the stem!). The desserts are to die for, don't forget: Vin Santo with Cantuccini, the best I've ever tasted, made by the host's wife. An absolute culinary highlight! Thanks Emilio, we will come again!

Been here for the 2nd time (holiday too short). Very nice ambiente with perfect relaxing music. Emilio is taking care about everything and makes you feel to be at home. The dishes we had were perfect. Unique specialty you should ask for, are the roman artichoces fried in olive oil.

Very welcoming place, fantastic staff and very helpful owner. The food was delicious and the pasta was handmade! Fair price for what we ate, unfortunately the place does not have private parking. However, an excellent experience, highly recommended and one that I would gladly do again

Christmas Day, fixed menu. We start with appetizers of mixed cold cuts and chicken liver croutons, which are excellent, spinach flan with saffron sauce, mouth-watering. The two excellent first courses: mushroom tortelli seasoned with a parmesan sauce and tagliatelle with white cinta ragù with orange peel, a delicacy. For the second course, rack of pork with mashed potatoes and Roman cabbage, delicious. To finish the wonderful dessert. Very well balanced and beautiful to look at. Merry Christmas to all. Thank you so much Gricia we had a great time.

Ristorante sito nel centro di Caldana. L’ambiente interno è molto intimo e tranquillo, grazie ai pochi tavoli a disposizione. Provato un piatto di pecorino alla piastra come antipasto, cotto al punto giusto, poi tonnarelli alla Gricia, ben conditi e saporiti. Molto soddisfacente il servizio, che mette il cliente al centro dell’attenzione. Prezzo nella norma per la tipologia di locale.

01/04/2024: The rating is an average between the food and the service. Quality food, good starters and excellent carbonara. Negative note about the service: Very long wait. Two and a half hours for an appetizer and a first course. I understand that it was Easter Sunday but all this waiting is inconceivable, and then the waiter: haughtily, "we are working, you are sitting". I would definitely go back for the food, absolutely not for the service.
