Yesterday, together with my girlfriend, we had dinner for the first time in this tavern. The location is very well looked after and the position facing the river is fabulous especially in summer. The food was excellent, in every course you could feel the quality of the raw materials, from the bread and the home-produced oil to the desserts. The service was impeccable, the owner is very friendly and attentive to every single table and the waiters are equally so. The value for money was excellent. We will definitely be back!

I visited La Mentana last night for a company dinner, but it is not the first time I have frequented this restaurant, which after some time remains one of my all-time favorites. LA Mentana is always a sensorial and pleasant experience, as well as offering you truly delicious dishes of Sicilian cuisine (I ate the fried ricotta and caciocavallo meatballs, super, truffle cappelletti that melted in your mouth, truly enveloping, and some delicious Sicilian cannoli ), this place welcomes you with its unique, truly warm and special atmosphere. Maybe it's very much in line with my personal taste, but everything is perfect... The lights, the furnishings, the tablecloths, the decorations, and even more so this Christmas period. La Mentana is the ideal place to spend good moments in company and certainly a place to bring a special person. What can I say... I can't wait to return. Congratulations to the staff!

Il locale è situato nel centro storico di Mercato Saraceno, accanto alla storica officina elettrica comunale. Il cibo, ottimo, coniuga la tradizione siciliana alla tradizione romagnola. Personale cortese e attento. Locale pulito, curato e piacevole seppur non particolarmente grande. D'estate si può pranzare o cenare su una meravigliosa terrazza dalla quale si può godere della vista del fiume Savio, dei palazzi storici e dei resti del vecchio ponte che collegava la sponda sinistra del Savio, su cui insiste la parte antica, con la sponda destra, ove è situata la Chiesa della Madonna del Ponte, edificata a metà del 1500. Ottima la selezione dei vini. Si consiglia la prenotazione.

La location è bellissima, sia all'interno d'inverno che all'esterno d'estate. I piatti proposti sono davvero ottimi, alcuni più tradizionali altri rivisitati, ma ciascuno di quelli provati è stato di nostro gradimento. Unica pecca il servizio, un po' distratto sia nell'accoglienza che durante il servizio, ma forse è stato un caso.
