Excellent friendly and quick service, excellent food, low prices, a spartan but welcoming environment I would happily go back if I didn't have to travel 700km. But never say never.

In the beating heart of Val Valcellina, surrounded by the picturesque scenery of Lake Barcis, we discovered a corner of paradise on earth that elevated our lunch to an unforgettable experience. The PONTE ANTONI tavern, which recalls the welcoming atmosphere of a narrative trill, welcomed us with the warmth of wood and the breathtaking view of the lake, offering us an appetizer that speaks the language of tradition with mastery and innovation. From Cren to horseradish sauce, from Pitina, jewel of the Tramontina valley on the majestic Carnic Prealps, to smoked loaf, cooked speck, Montasio and roasted polenta: every bite was a journey through authentic flavors rich in history. But it was the first course, the bigoli in duck ragù, that definitively stole the show. The pasta, rough and porous, seemed to be made specifically to embrace and enhance every nuance of the ragù, sensational in all its nuances, tracing a deep furrow in the memory of this culinary experience. Accompanied by red wine from Valtellina, our lunch turned into an ode to joy, enriched by the company of Nicola and Filippo, long-time friends with whom sharing laughter, stories and exceptional dishes made everything even more special. The welcome, friendliness and professionalism of the staff put the seal on a day that will remain etched in the memory, as a perfect example of how food, company and the beauty of nature can intertwine to create moments of pure happiness. Our visit to the Ponte Antoi inn in Barcis was a break from everyday life, an immersion in an atmosphere of other times, where every detail speaks of passion, care and love for hospitality and good food. Great place to eat! BOOK IN ADVANCE - The location of this Osteria is great for those looking for doing a small hike, mountain walk or visit to Barcis or its nearby hills. The food is mostly 100% homemade (even most of the desserts) and its so good that we go there about once a month since we moved here. My favourite is "gnocchi al ragù di cervo", highly recommend that you try it. Plus, service is fast and the people working at the restaurant very nice. PD. This is a pet friendly place.

Beautiful restaurant with breathtaking views of Lake Barcis. It presents itself very well, good choice of dishes, quick to serve. The only small flaw: the car park is slightly small, but still has around ten spaces. Highly recommended.

I went back ten years later but I hope the next time will be closer. Quality dishes and super abundant. I never give 5 stars but they deserve it

Buona questa esperienza fatta 2 anni fa in estate. Bellissimo il lago con una bella passeggiata lungolago. Vicino ci sono le gallerie da visitare. Ha una posizione privilegiata davanti al lago. Abbiamo preso l'antipasto e dei secondi. Tutto molto buono e buono il servizio. Non ho trovato le foto.
