This was place was everything we hoped for! We stayed in Livorno for a few days, and craved a pasta. Saw the reviews on Red - and decided we have to go. Had one of the best pastas I had ever eaten. Had the cacio & pepe, and another black pepper pasta - both were insanely delicious. The house wine was also excellent - light, fruity and delicious. The only issue was the noise - it's a small venue, and there was a big, noisy group sitting across from us. Otherwise, a perfect experience.

The owner of the place is very nice, he welcomed us with warmth and good advice. We ate some excellent traditional dishes. Excellent value for money. Super recommended. We hope to repeat soon.

27/11/2023: I've never had such a brilliant licorice ice cream in my life. Every variety tastes simply good here. Very friendly staff.
01/11/2023: Excellent ice cream taste. Strawberry ice cream here also tastes like real strawberries. I particularly like the dark chocolate ice cream. But they also do everything right with the Zabailone and Amarena flavors.
