Excellent place, not very crowded, clean, impeccable and friendly service, very nice, the cost for the evening is fair for the things we ate, fried food with fruit and something to try..... excellent evening.

Great place to eat traditional Ferrarese cuisine. It can be easy to miss from the road but make sure you stop here if you’re in the area. If you pass through in the warm season, the tables in the garden are absolutely lovely, but the interior is very nice as well. My family has been going here for ages and we never get tired of their cooking.

Questa tipica osteria propone sempre piatti eccellenti. Continuo ad andarci sempre per l'ottima cucina ma.... Come tutte le cose belle ha una grande pecca. Il personale è sgradevole e a volte risponde con toni bruschi. È un vero peccato. L'ultima volta sono andata e le porzioni erano ridottissime tanto che ho ripreso il piatto due volte. Prezzi alti non consoni alle porzioni.

Certo non è un posto da fighetti sofisitcati, ma l'ambiente è accogliente, semplice, tradizionale. La base del menù sono i classici della tradizione ferrarese, presenti tutto l'anno come i loro fantastici cappellacci di zucca con ragù di coniglio, i pinzini fritti con salumi vari, le grigliate di carne bovina, suina e ovina... A fianco poi ci sono gli antipasti e i primi di stagione, ed ora è un trionfo di funghi sulle pappardelle all'ortica, col risotto o su magnifici tortelloni di rapa rossa ed anche tartufo. Questa volta sono rimasto stupito da due nuovi antipasti, un superbo formaggio di capra con miele su un letto di belga con Tropea e un tortino di polenta con funghi e crema di parmigiano... ecco due dei piatti della parte innovativa della cucina. Nella compagnia c'erano vegetariani e onnivori ed entrambi i gruppi sono rimasti soddisfatti. Buoni anche i dolci ed i vini, il Prosecco ed il rosso della casa (vini trevigiani).
