Known for its exceptional ravioli, I had an excellent starter and an excellent second course, but the ravioli this time were good, but not exceptional, I have to return, perhaps the consistency is missing. The long and winding road doesn't help, but it's still worth it.

Remarkable experience. Two people. Starter: boiled chestnuts, honey and bacon. Self-produced honey, local chestnuts and fresh pancetta coppata. First courses: Ravioli with touch Let me start by saying that the first time I try a restaurant in the hinterland I always ask for ravioli, so I can compare the quality. These are among the best, small, irregular, tasty, excellent touch, notable quantity (two portions each and we have some left over). Second courses: stuffed chicken. Traditional dish that is rarely offered around. I wanted to try it even though it's normally a dish I don't like very much. This one largely passed the test. Even though we asked to limit the portions a bit, we just couldn't finish it. The owner very kindly, without us even asking, prepared bags with leftovers for us. Desserts: Tiramisu Another dish that I always request the first time. This too is natural, well made, pleasant and not heavy. Wine: bulk white The wine deserves a separate note. I usually ask for a bottle, because the loose white in the restaurant turns acidic before the evening. But here they brought us a bottle of an amber and fruity wine that is worth more than many bottled Vermentinos. They are supplied in Veneto. At the end of the meal we asked for a kilo of their delicious honey, which they put on the invoice under "side dishes". Do you understand? They could have sold it under the table, but instead they pay taxes! Final bill 67 EUROS FOR TWO, of which 10 euros for honey. The environment is welcoming, a few tables with locals. The secret is to go there on weekdays. What else can I add? It was an AUTHENTIC experience, much better than certain gourmant restaurants that pass themselves off as "traditional" and are instead carefully planned operations, which for a lunch like this cost you 60 euros each. Congratulations to the managers, we will be back as soon as possible!

Pleasant surprise in the Ligurian hinterland. Ligurian cuisine where the main dish is certainly ravioli to the touch. The mushroom sauce, asado and mixed fried meat are also excellent. Definitely coming back. Highly recommended for those looking for home cooking and a welcoming place.

Simple and informal place, excellent courteous and fast staff, traditional Ligurian food with abundant portions, excellent value for money. It's definitely not a long road, at the top of a peak with 7km of curves to get there, but it's worth it, we'll definitely be back

Excellent food starting from the appetizers, the sublime ravioli and the second courses, we also ate the delicious fried foods. All very good and to your liking. Thanks also for your hospitality

The ravioli with the touch alone are worth the seven kilometers of uphill curves to reach this historic trattoria, deservedly famous for the excellent cuisine of the Chiesa family. But the other dishes are also special, starting with the chestnuts boiled with honey and bacon served as an appetizer, the mixed fried Genoese style and the stuffed chicken, a dish that seems to come back from childhood memories. Mi avevano parlato di questa trattoria, finalmente sono riuscita ad andare. I piatti mi hanno ricordato quando da bambina la domenica mangiavamo a casa dalla nonna. Le torte dell' antipasto davvero saporite, ottime. Ma la fiammanghilla con i ravioli al tuccu genovese è stata per me la più apprezzata. Ravioli fatti a mano, porzioni davvero abbondanti, il tuccu fatto con l'antica ricetta di famiglia tramandata da quattro generazioni (così ci ha raccontato e spiegato il cameriere, nonché cuoco, nonché titolare). L'asado ottimo, molto gustoso. A detta di tutti il migliore mai assaggiato. Poi io ho voluto assaggiare la gallina ripiena, uno dei piatti della mia infanzia visto che mia nonna la cucinava spesso. Questa non si trova praticamente da nessuna parte! E poi la cima alla genovese. Che dire? Sicuramente che non faremo passare molto tempo prima di tornare (anche se non stiamo proprio vicini). Ma U pellegrin merita sul serio. Anche per l'accoglienza verso i clienti da parte sia dei proprietari che dello staff. Davvero ospitali e cordiali. E per l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, tutti i piatti del menù richiedono tempo per essere preparati, ormai sono rimasti in pochi a servire la vera cucina della tradizione. A presto! E grazie.

Sono andata ieri con mio marito a pranzo in questa trattoria perché il mio consorte l'aveva scoperta qualche giorno prima durante un giro in bici con un gruppo di amici. Anche a cercare il pelo nell'uovo non riesco a fare una piccola critica negativa. Il cibo prettamente genovese è ottimo, ben cucinato, abbondante e servito con il sorriso. La vista impagabile e il conto più che equo. Spero di tornarci per mangiare i funghi rossi che purtroppo erano finiti e mi sono dovuta "accontentare" di splendidi porcini.
