My colleague Biagio di Teana, upon returning from the Christmas holidays, brought a tray of "cicirat" to the office in Florence. Each of us has someone in our family who makes these sweets, I personally have the memory of my grandmother's Christmas package from Lecce.. but these sweets are the best I have ever tasted! They are sublime, you can feel the notes of dried fruit, citrus fruits, honey and the fragrance of the dough! Congratulations ! Another good reason to come and visit your land!
