Pizzeria ristobar Chalet In Ferriere

A fantastic Sunday for my wife Patrizia's birthday, if it were possible I would give 6 stars, everything from the fabulous food to the delightful welcome, for my next lunch we will undoubtedly return.

We always drive up to this pizza place during our summer break. The setting is gorgeous, the prices on the food quite reasonable. The pizzas used to be better, but this year we found them to always be slightly over cooked and burnt around the edges. I am sure that this will be corrected soon enough. We always enjoy this place so much that we overlooked this little detail and had a great meal!

In the midst of the Piacenza hills, a very pleasant gem. Restaurant surrounded by nature, run by a pleasantly over-the-top character who offers typical local cuisine but which also opens up to seasonality and a pinch of vegetarian. (In the sense that, despite a Piacenza tradition based heavily on cured meats, there were also some interesting alternatives without pork)

The managers, as well as the waiters, are friendly and approachable. The menu is varied and full of delicacies, the meat is very good and their desserts are delicious. The atmosphere is very beautiful, like a perfect mountain chalet. The quantity of meat in the grill is proportionate to its cost. Ample parking, you will hardly have problems finding a place. It must only be said that the place in front of the entrance, separated from the bathroom by little more than a wooden panel, is a bit uncomfortable!

How beautiful, a quiet place to relax, we enjoyed the pizza and a first course with pumpkin trortelli with walnut sauce. For dessert, a vegan semifreddo. To try!!!
