Being close to Padua means finding time and going for ice cream.. Not ordinary, but the best Italian gelato 😋 It's my subjective opinion, not everyone may agree with me, but I haven't eaten better gelato 🥰 There is a nice staff, you can also pay by card, it is clean and they do it quickly... And you take it with you to the beautiful square... Such a "pile" in a cup costs €5... it's really a lot... yum 😋 Go! Good taste 😋

Raw materials of unsurpassed quality and freshness (among other things, we arrived at the same time as the delivery boy who brought the fruit so we saw the product first hand, but in any case it wouldn't be necessary because the goodness of the ice cream speaks for itself). Excellent value for money if we consider that now for a measly "scoop" from any mediocre ice cream shop you pay from €1.8 to €2.00 while here with €3.00 you get two very generous flavours, if we then add a excellent quality and also a splendid location, in front of the valley meadow and a stone's throw from Sant'Antonio. Personal recommendation, coconut and mango. Good enough to scare.

The best ice cream you can find in Padua

The best ice cream we have ever eaten in our life. It seems banal to say it but for us this is the best ice cream of all the places we visited. Gelateria Portugal is a regular stop on our visits to Padua. In our opinion, the fruit flavors are truly the best, it feels like you are literally eating the fruit itself (strawberry, apricot or raspberry) but the other varieties of ice cream are also truly exceptional: we tried hazelnut, pistachio, liquorice, chocolate, banana and an amazing one. Vanilla. It is clear that the raw materials are of the highest quality and for us it is really worth queuing for a while to enjoy such good ice cream. Furthermore, we believe the quality-price ratio is excellent, there are ice cream shops that are significantly lower and have similar costs but are nowhere near their genuine flavours.
