Impossibile non passare da Genova e non fermarsi da Priano a gustare la focaccia Genovese. Una vera leccornia. Se poi si vuole il meglio, una slerfa ( un pezzo grosso) di focaccia con la cipolla. Non può mancare. Ma oltre alle focacce tradizionali si possono gustare focacce di altri tipi. Un esperienza solo Ligure da non perdere assolutamente. Consigliatissimo ( senza togliere nulla agli altri storici forni).

Fantastic focaccia Priano is number one

Piano is a historic pastry shop and bakery in Voltri. It produces an exceptional focaccia that is very particular and different from all the others. It also produces artisanal desserts of unrivaled quality that you absolutely must try.

Historic place in Voltri and renowned throughout Genoa (and surrounding areas) for its famous focaccia, normal or with onions, which differs from the classic "Genoese" one. There is always a queue but it still moves quite quickly, usually waiting times are around 10 minutes. As a reward for queuing... freshly baked focaccia to be devoured on the nearby seafront.

We had some farinata last week and it was well cooked but too greasy. Sin. Looking at other reviews I see that there is a bit of confusion between this Priano and Priano SBK which are two sales points that have nothing in common with each other although they are close: Priano SBK remains on the sea side, Priano Paolo is the one on the mountain side.

Iconic Voltri shop. It offers a wide choice of baked goods, among which it is impossible not to try the typical focaccia di voltri, stretched and with polenta. The bread is also excellent, as are all the focaccias, mini pizzas, pan pizzas and other delicacies. The pastry shop is also excellent, both for brioches and "homemade" cakes and for small pastries, cakes for events, pandoros, panettone, pandolci and colombe. The Easter eggs are also excellent. There is also a window dedicated to the small chocolate shop (😋). On weekends and on special occasions, you can find many delicacies at the counter (pretzels, puff pastry pizzas, pancakes). Absolutely worth trying. Friendly but often distracting staff.
