Rifugio Luigi Brasca In Novate mezzola

I stayed in the refuge this summer for three days for a treat. It is located in an ideal place as a starting point for beautiful walks of variable difficulty depending on what you are looking for; all immersed in a breathtaking landscape. Clean and tidy refuge with excellent food (every evening I had an encore); most of all I will take with me the hospitality of the managers who made us feel at home. An obligatory destination for mountain lovers.

The refuge represents an excellent support point as well as a crossroads for trekking on horseback in the Val Codera and the Valle dell'Oro and the Alpine passes above.

A point of reference for our excursions in Val Codera. Strong points: Welcome and hospitality. Mirco, the manager of the refuge, was able to provide us with information on the routes to take depending on the weather. A special note goes to the home made cakes and chocolates. Heavenly! We'll be back soon! SUPER RECOMMENDED!

The welcome at the refuge is special, Mirco is present but always discreet and respectful. The cuisine is excellent, refined and never banal... attentive to those with special needs, without losing imagination, and capable of making local specialties known. The shelter is simple and clean. Immersed in a truly enchanting natural setting... you greet it with the desire to return already in your heart. Thank you! Vale and Ale

Top della Val Codera. Per chi lo conosce da anni e frequenta la valle, è un must... Una meta che ti riporta ogni anno in questi posti. MIRKO e il suo staff sono super... Ritornarci e vivere l'energia del posto e del suo staff è sempre una esperienza che ti ricarica... La cucina poi è il top per essere un ristorante di montagna... Ricerca delle materie prime, pasti abbondanti e scelta di dolci da fare invidia a qualsiasi ristorante stellato delle nostre città. Un consiglio... ANDATATECI e vivete l'atmosfera famigliare e la cucina super... Fermatevi la notte e ricaricatevi.... . La strada è lunga ma vi ripaghera' di tanta fatica.. Bravo Mirko e il suo staff!! Lo chef è da premiare... Si aggiorna sempre e il suo pezzo forte, oltre ai dolce, è il risotto al Castelmagno.... SUPER! Sergio

Our family group of 6 stayed here after hiking from Codera. Thanks to helpful Frederica we checked in at 3pm and got a private room. Both Giacomo and Frederica very helpful and friendly with good English. Lovely relaxing outdoor space with fine views. 2 small toilets in main building and tokens available for hot shower at €4. Very good range of cakes. Dinner very good though would have liked some salad or vegetables. Breakfast very limited as is typical of CAI huts. Recommended!
