Refuge with fantastic views of the entire Lake Garda basin, exceptional panoramic point, excellently renovated by local companies, excellent for summer excursions and winter ski mountaineering. Welcoming management attentive to quality local products with particular attention to ecology.

Almost on top of the hold there is a refuge which is a real gem. Run since 2017 by a passionate and very nice guy, it offers typical dishes at good prices, as well as lots to drink. Ample space both inside and outside, with benches that can be used even when the refuge is closed. In winter it opens on Fridays and stays open until late on weekends, but on Sundays it closes at 3pm. In summer it is always open. The perishable raw materials arrive on our shoulders, every time, from the car park an hour's walk away, while the long-life raw materials arrive by helicopter 3/4 times a year. This means that there is a lot of passion and patience behind this work. It's worth climbing the Stivo just to hear the manager's stories and see the passion in his words. Thus the post-climb food acquires a more intense flavour.

Abbiamo pernottato qui dopo una bella camminata sulla neve. Ramponi indispensabili. Cena ottima e stanze confortevoli. Bravissima la giovane crew di Alberto, anche per la colazione. Prezzo giusto. E che panorami!!!

It is a beautiful retreat and not a hotel. Very good and friendly manager and guys. Excellent winter half board, the rooms seem cold but then warm up at night, plentiful and good food.

Saliti con vento gelido e nubi basse che ghiacciavano l'erba, arrivati in Rifugio siamo stati accolti da ragazze gentilissime e molto professionali. Ottimi piatti e super dolci, ma la grappa offerta?! Beh... merita una visita solo x l'impiego del Gestore!!!

Stylová horská bouda s nádherným výhledem. Když jsme na Gardě,nikdy si nenecháme utéct výšlap na Stivo a něco dobrého na chatě. Vždy dobře naladěná obsluha.
