All beautiful, located at the mouth of Val Biandino, an excellent starting point for numerous beautiful excursions. Welcoming, friendly and competent managers. Wonderful night snowshoeing experience, not to mention the dinner in the refuge with delicious and abundant dishes, in excellent company... Even if we didn't know anyone, the atmosphere was one of brotherly friendship.

Nice refuge, well equipped and the food is very good. The staff are friendly and it is located in a good location at the start of a valley surrounded by mountains. It's a shame that the paths to reach the refuge (there are in fact several alternatives) are very lacking in indications and you risk ending up on a path that has some dangerous sections.

The approach is quite easy even if a little long and from the refuge you can continue along the beautiful Val Biandino
The 5 stars are more than deserved given the quality and quantity of food that is served every time in this beautiful refuge.
First courses, second courses with polenta and cheeses with the grand finale of desserts.... Obviously wine is never missing...
Practically a challenge between the customer and the refugee 😂

È il secondo anno consecutivo che in compagnia di amici passiamo il weekend al rifugio Tavecchia. Merenda, ciaspolata, cena, notte al rifugio, colazione e passeggiata la mattina seguente e poi pranzo. Tutto ben organizzato, personale gentile e disponibile. Ho apprezzato molto il pranzo, composto da menù fisso e portate abbondanti. Ottimo lo spezzatino e il cervo con la polenta. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Un’esperienza che consiglio a tutti, un luogo incantevole dove passare una bella giornata tra natura incontaminata e cibo ottimo e abbondante. Persone squisite dal Mauro che porta su e giu i clienti con il suo fuoristrada al personale del ristorante super gentile e cordiale! Infine il prezzo è quasi imbarazzante! Per i servizi proposti e la qualità del cibo potrebbe decisamente essere molto più caro…ma va bene cosi, motivo in piu per tornarci. Bravi tutti.
