Excellent food and very very nice atmosphere.
The menu offered is both à la carte and seasonal menu. We caught autumn on the table and it was magnificent with fresh porcini mushrooms and even a touch of black truffle.
Marina brought us some excellent wine and we had a chat with her about the structure and the proposed menu.
Thanks also to Emanuele for his advice from the dishes to the bitters.
They also speak English for any reservations and table service.
We took an entrée of fried courgette flowers served in a paper bowl. Inside is a good number of fried delights.
As an appetizer, a mixture of oil, salt and pepper, with a drop of lemon and all covered with fresh porcini mushrooms and truffles. Good good good.
My wife. As a first course, a fresh tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffle. I had a second course with sautéed porcini mushrooms (the garlic was at minimum and I really appreciated it) and grated truffle. The wine was a Nebbiolo rosé... really delicate and tasty.
Sweet panna cotta with vanilla pod.
Total 122 euros.
PS I added a photo of a beautiful Prussian ribeye eaten on 03.17.24. succulent marbled just right and matured for 40 days.

It was the first time I went there and it was a very pleasant surprise...... excellent food cooked presented in the room in front of the diners.... The place is very nice without pretensions... informal... where you can live a nice convivial experience among friends

Sul cibo passatemi una citazione di un film..." Ma che te lo dico a fare!..."
Preso una battuta di carne piemontese con lamelle di carciofo crudo: SPETTACOLARE. Due tagliate e un polpo.
Non vedo l'ora arrivi la primavera per poter cenare nel fantastico cortiletto.

First experience was for Christmas lunch. A private and relaxing atmosphere, clean environment, courteous and trained staff. The quality of the food is excellent. One of the few really good restaurants in the area.

La più spettacolare esperienza culinaria dell’alto lago Maggiore.si respira passione per la preparazione dei cibi e per il servizio, in un clima cordiale e familiare. Materie prime di altissimo livello, in primis la carne. Per non parlare del Tiramisù preparato interamente al tavolo. Assolutamente imperdibile.
