Eaten well. The first courses are good except for the Molise ragù. The meat is good. Problems with the efficiency of table service and side dishes.

An excellent lunch before arriving in Castel di Sangro. We have passed there many times and today we decided to try this restaurant where you can also taste an excellent homemade amaro with 13 herbs.
We took a portion of tagliatelle with Molise ragù and a plate of truffle ravioli, roasted radicchio, 2 glasses of red wine and a warm chocolate cake and a pistachio cake. All very good.

I've been traveling this route for years, I had always thought that sooner or later I would stop and today, finally, I made up my mind, or rather I planned the trip to stop by here at lunchtime. Very nice location, very friendly and helpful staff and owners. We ate goat's ricotta ravioli with truffles, tagliatelle with Molise ragù, a side dish of grilled Treviso radicchio, two sweets, one with a pistachio heart and the other with a chocolate heart. Finally, two glasses of local wine and a bottle of mineral water, tot. €46. All very good.

We stayed very well.
Local and excellent quality food.
The first ones are exceptional, I couldn't even take a photo because of how good they were.
I recommend it and will return.

Ogni volta che andiamo a Castel San Vincenzo ormai passiamo sempre qui!!
Il cibo è veramente ottimo e di qualità , per me anche il migliore della zona!
Da non escludere poi la gentilezza e l’accoglienza.
Per me è tappa obbligatoria quando sono qui❤️

Oreste e Maria si autodefiniscono ristorante “rurale” ed esattamente quello che stavamo cercando: un posto autentico, cucina sincera e prodotti schietti. Pochi fronzoli, atmosfera familiare dove, se prendi il caffè al bancone con il proprietario, ti sembra di farlo in compagnia di un lontano zio che non vedi mai ma a cui sei affezionato. Bravi!
