I wanted to celebrate my birthday yesterday, having dinner with my vegetarian girlfriend, starting from Calabria. It's not a joke. We really did it, because we knew what we were going to encounter, having already been there in the past. Location, service, quality and variety of dishes are all top level. And for the occasion, the owner chef of the restaurant, a man of refined and universal competence, came to speak to us at the table. I put him first in Italy, in every season. My 44 years have been amply honored.

Restaurant located in the main square, under the arcades so the location alone would be worth it; the environment is small but very beautiful as it is a historic place in the city with frescoes on the ceiling. We ranged from appetizers to desserts and for each dish the waiter explained what we were eating. The dishes had a very captivating and above all inviting aesthetic; the flavors were sublime. At the end of the dinner, tastings of small pastries were also offered by the chef. Obviously the cost is proportionate to the quality and the place, here if you want to spend little go elsewhere, you have to pay for haute cuisine. If I really have to make a criticism, too much oil was put in the roast potatoes. For the rest, really compliments.

Ho pranzato presso questo ristorante situato in Piazza Grande ad Arezzo durante le festività natalizie, in compagnia dei miei genitori. Senza un programma preciso, abbiamo optato casualmente per uno dei ristoranti lungo la via. L'ambiente interno è incredibilmente suggestivo, con un'atmosfera antica arricchita da affreschi alle pareti, che, nonostante ciò, emana un calore avvolgente e accogliente. Siamo stati serviti da due camerieri molto piacevoli e disponibili: un giovane di notevole preparazione e un signore adulto affabile e esperto. Dal menù, abbiamo scelto due antipasti, un ricco e gustoso tagliere di salumi e una tartare di cervo affumicato con sorbetto alla lavanda. Successivamente, abbiamo ordinato il coniglio in porchetta con patate duchessa e un filetto di Chianina tenderloin. Tutte le portate sono state deliziose e preparate con maestria. La cottura del filetto era impeccabile, e la possibilità di personalizzare ulteriormente la cottura sulla pietra ollare, abbinata alle varie salse, spezie ed erbe aromatiche proposte, ha arricchito ulteriormente l'esperienza gastronomica. Il personale di sala si è dimostrato molto competente e disponibile, sebbene il servizio fosse leggermente lento, probabilmente a causa dell'affluenza notevole sia all'interno che all'esterno del locale. Il costo finale è risultato in linea con le aspettative e con gli altri ristoranti presenti nella stessa zona della città. Senza dubbio, un piacevole ricordo e un consiglio che con piacere condividerò con gli amici che visiteranno la zona. Bravo!

I had lunch at this restaurant located in Piazza Grande in Arezzo during the Christmas holidays, in the company of my parents. Without a specific plan, we randomly opted for one of the restaurants along the street. The internal environment is incredibly evocative, with an ancient atmosphere enriched by frescoes on the walls, which, despite this, exudes an enveloping and welcoming warmth. We were served by two very pleasant and helpful waiters: a young man with considerable preparation and an affable and expert adult gentleman. From the menu, we chose two appetizers, a rich and tasty platter of cured meats and a smoked venison tartare with lavender sorbet. Next, we ordered the rabbit in porchetta with duchess potatoes and a Chianina tenderloin fillet. All courses were delicious and expertly prepared. The cooking of the fillet was impeccable, and the possibility of further personalizing the cooking on the soapstone, combined with the various sauces, spices and aromatic herbs offered, further enriched the gastronomic experience. The dining room staff proved to be very competent and helpful, although the service was slightly slow, probably due to the considerable turnout both inside and outside the restaurant. The final cost was in line with expectations and with other restaurants in the same area of ​​the city. Without a doubt, a pleasant memory and advice that I will be happy to share with friends who visit the area. Well done!

posizione invidiabile , ma soprattutto una cucina buonissima con tutti i sapori della tradizione e qualche innovazione .abbiamo mangiato benissimo accompagnati da tanta cortesia . ottimo rapporto qualità' prezzo.
