One of a kind location. Canna is better if it goes on TV than in the kitchen. The pleasure of the senses is something else entirely.

Nice experience but absent chef, good but not exceptional dishes, high prices as they should be in a three star hotel, not three star service, very good and knowledgeable sommelier. Questionable price/quality I wouldn't go back

Good overall, they make an effort. Found the room very cold as they waited for us to arrive before switching on the heating. One thing I will never understand are those hotels that kick you out before lunch, and 11 am check out is brutal

I have not been.seen from the outside

I had dinner a little while ago with my girlfriend and it was the best dining experience we have ever had. The staff is uniquely kind and professional, the dishes served (we chose the "itinerary" menu) were true works of art, the wine route paired with the menu was of the highest quality. Congratulations to the sommelier for his professionalism and great skill in illustrating all the wines he proposed to us (and also the digestive after dinner); congratulations to the waiters for the great attention they have and for their great preparation; congratulations to the kitchen for letting us enjoy dishes that were so beautiful that we almost felt sorry to eat them. Finally, thanks to Chef Cannavacciuolo who gave us a souvenir photo with him. Thank you so much for everything, thank you thank you thank you❤️

Fare una recensione per un tristellato con notevole esposizione mediatica richiede qualche dettaglio in più, che spero venga considerato utile e non offensivo. La location è da sogno, uno dei luoghi più belli al mondo, con la sua impronta mediorientale di un minareto che svetta su un lago, un vero monumento patrimonio dell' umanità. Anche le sale interne fanno faville. Accoglienza millimetrata da una macchina da guerra organizzativa. Gli anticipi vengono fatti a accomodare in una saletta per un aperitivo apparentemente sofisticato, in realtà domina lo champagne senza alcun flavour particolare. Una volta scelto il menù degustazione arrivano deliziose amuse bouch. La successione dei piatti è buona ma non devastante, senza rilasciare emozioni particolari. predomina il pesce. Qualche difetto, come la presenza di spine nella triglia (devo dire eccellentemente compensata da uno sconto finale dopo la mia osservazione, segno di delicatezza per il cliente). Il rombo era non troppo cotto, come testimoniato da un striscetta rossa all' interno. Il cameriere giustifica con la necessità di mantenere fresco l' alimento... La caduta più significativa è però sul vino. Ho scelto un wine tasting (150 euro). Tra i cinque vini solo due sono di valore per giustificare il prezzo (nessuna bottiglia è stata aperta all' uopo). La mescita è abbastanza inusuale perchè non consente l' assaggio di gradimento, grammatica di base per un sommelier. Il dosaggio è veramente minimo (lo standard dovrebbe essere 150 ml) e senza rabbocco di cortesia Serata piacevole, ma probabilmente le attese erano eccesive rispetto ad altri tristellati che mi hanno riservato emozioni maggiori.

Dall’accortezza del personale all’unicità della villa, dalla cucina sopraffina dello Chef Cannavacciuolo alla capacità dei sommelier di sala non è possibile trovare niente di più romantico per festeggiare come noi il nostro decimo anniversario di matrimonio. “Praticamente perfetto” direbbe Vasco.
