It is a place from another era and enchanting. We stayed last month when the old owner was still managing it. We were delighted by the dishes and the service offered.

Hotel icona di Abu Dhabi. Estensione enorme della struttura con spiaggia e giardini curatissimi. Pulizia maniacale ovunque. Camere grandi. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Lusso non ostentato ma presente. Vari ristoranti con cibo e trattamento superlativi. Prezzi molto elevati ma in linea con il prestigio della struttura

Servizio strepitoso (Personale attentissimo!) in una location elegante, curata e che trasmette serenità. Piatti della tradizione, con i veri sapori di una volta; torta Elvezia da non perdere!

Our first visit to il Cigno was nearly 20 years ago, and my wife and I keep coming back. Mantova is a lovely town, and this restaurant is an institution among Mantovani in the know. Since we were traveling south and passing the city to get to our final destination, we called ahead and reserved a table. The restaurant is housed in a 15th-century home, and the family that runs it makes every patron feel special. The pastas are delicious, and we had two different dishes: tortelli and tortellini. For the main course, I opted for the lamb, which was cooked perfectly, and my wife had the fish. A nice bottle of Arnaldo Caprai Montefalco Rosso accompanied the meal. We saved room for dessert and were rewarded with delicious budino and gelato. Come here for the best meal you will ever have in Mantova.

A must go! Right from the welcome, all is perfect! A typical high end Italian restaurant. Nice lay out with contemporary touches, menus, Murano vases. Missed the garden, as we had dinner mid October. The food is home made, the wine from the landlord estate. And the strawberry sorbet!!! A dream, a throwback of my childhood. Excellent service and attention.
