Mammola stockfish is a traditional dish of Calabrian cuisine and I confirm that at the Taverna del Borgo they cook it in many ways and all of them are good. I took the stockfish menu (for those who don't like this fish, the restaurant offers a non-stockfish menu that is equally rich and excellent given the high quality of the products) and I ate it with the starter (various tastings with different combinations) in the first course (fresh pasta and porcini mushrooms and fresh pasta with stockfish ragù) and second course (grilled stockfish with potatoes and porcini mushrooms and stockfish roll). For those like me who have never tasted it (despite being Calabrian, I have always eaten cod) I recommend this culinary experience at the Taverna because their cuisine is excellent, they are very hospitable and the place is really nice.

Unfortunately for me not for the restaurant it was all full and being alone they found a place where they could appreciate their starter courses which were all delicious to say the least plus the second course was not only good but also of excellent quality and the service even though it was full kind and carried out in due time, what more can I say, I will definitely be back, book if you want to be sure that your table will be there

TOP experience, very polite and courteous staff, always attentive to the tables, everything based on stockfish, (but you can also have a rustic menu, equally excellent) which in these parts is an excellence, cleanliness top marks, prices of everything respect for what you eat, conclusions all SUPER

A welcoming place, I recommend booking the table for 2 next to the fireplace. Staff attentive to the customer, the starters are excellent.
