Ate very good traditional Calabrian food. The quality of the cold cuts and cheeses in the starter is excellent. Exceptional fileja with pork ragù. All at absolutely reasonable prices. Well done!

cibo nella media, cosi come il vino ed il prezzo. Scegliendo bene si puo' mangiare nelle immediate vicinanze di Tropea molto meglio.

We stayed here on a half board basis, the rooms were a little dated but clean, the food was really good and the staff were friendly. Recommended if you want to stay near Tropea but enjoy the silence and tranquility

We had dinner at the restaurant having a good appetizer l'uliveto, 1 fileja alla nduja and an excellent fileja oliveto. The meal ended with a delicious truffle split in half.
It's a shame that at the time of the bill we discovered that for dividing the dessert an extra €1 was charged which was not shown on the menu.
This is an avoidable fall in style. Customers are not chickens to be plucked

Abbiamo mangiato piuttosto bene, passando una bella serata nel patio esterno, potendo finalmente respirare aria fresca. La cucina è di quelle tipicamente casareccia, concreta, si direbbe "cucina di una volta", con la fileja a farla da padrona, piatto immancabile da queste parti. Molto buono anche il pollo al mattone, piatto insolito e non semplice da trovare, davvero buono (seppur un po' troppo oleoso), molto interessante anche l'antipasto che porta il nome del locale, che, non contento, ho rinforzato coi fagioli, una vera leccornia! Conte più che onesto, forse persino basso, il risparmio presumo sia nel fatto che gli scontrini non sempre vengono emessi, come nel mio caso, in cui mi è stato rilasciato uno scontrino non fiscale.

Discovered because they were brought by local people who have been frequenting this delightful restaurant for some time, hidden on a hilly road that takes you to an oasis of tranquility and peace immersed in the very relaxing greenery that surrounds this restaurant. We obviously and rigorously ate all local Calabrian food very good, nothing to complain about, homemade pasta (fileu) excellent and the local wine also excellent, we ate really well and will definitely go back, well deserved 5 stars.
