I've known the place for many years and always like to go when I'm in the area. I went to my family's Easter lunch, Simone is a good "host" who wisely chooses the authenticity of the product to offer, always cooked according to the canons of traditional Tuscan cuisine. The choice of wine is wide and of high quality, I will return soon, perhaps in the romantic outdoor courtyard.

Top, top, top! We have ordered pasta, meat (both beef fillet and chicken) and then tiramisu, everything was delicious. Service and atmosphere are also great, you feel that you’re in Tuscany 🙌🏻

Advised! Had a great meal a couple of years ago and happy to have just returned - the food is really good and they are very kind. Ribollita, black cabbage crostini, pici gorgonzola, sausage and radicchio, lamb chops: everything is exceptional. Very kind staff. Also take a walk in the tiny village afterwards, not touristy and cute. The dirt path that leads to Pozze di Lecchi is also beautiful if you want to go on an excursion

Lovely supper in a cozy, intimate setting. I especially enjoyed the gorgonzola ravioli (amazing) and seasonal pumpkin soup.

I book this restaurant randomly, halfway along the route we had to take... the surprise was amazing, a hidden treasure in the Chianti area of Siena, a very very welcoming and intimate environment, the owner equally welcoming and helpful... the food well ..what can I say..excellent menu, excellent food..a delight for the palate..the raw materials, the cooking..everything really fantastic...great place..the only regret is not having it close to home.

I went with my family for lunch on the 1st of the year, after booking. We enter and there is no other diner (inside me, who had pushed to go there, there was a moment of panic. My family members are very demanding at the table). I'm not going to tell the whole story about the lunch, but I can only say that the stars I gave were fully deserved. My father-in-law asked me when we could go back (and he is hard to please at the table!). We will return as soon as possible.

Ristorante Malborghetto should be on your list on places to eat in Tuscany.
We enjoyed very well prepared meal of pasta, salad , steak and dessert. Pasta was freshly made, Steak cooked as we asked for and service prompt and friendly (owner and wife team)
Malborghetto sits off the beaten track so you’ll need some navigation to find your way here, the property has indoor and outdoor dining, you should sit outside since the ambience is much nicer.
Depending on the time of year you will need reservations

Scelta migliore non potevamo fare per una sosta rilassante e un pranzo squisito durante un trekking nel Chianti senese…
Portate veramente buone, sia i primi (pici al ragù di anatra troppo buoni) che i secondi e poi i dolci ci hanno soddisfatto pienamente.
Personale simpatico e competente.
Spero di tornarci presto.
